Gretchen I still can't believe what beautiful things you make and have been making since you were so young. The bedroom is just lovely, and I'm just as crazy about the green painted things as you are ;) You have a great collection of furniture also. I LOVE this dollhouse.
I just think the fact that you remember the name of a childhood friend related to a piece in your dollhouse is so heartwarming. Shows how much you love your mini treasures. Thanks for the idea of using a curio cabinet as a linen cabinet in the bathroom. I hope I can find one in unfinished wood so I can personalize it.
Thank you Christy! You are so welcome! Yes I have some wonderful childhood memories around my dollhouse. Although she didn't have a dollhouse, she was my only friend who could relate to me having one because her mother was a Antique Silver Dealer. Her family traveled regularly to purchase antique items for her mother's business. So She had a unique understanding of how wonderful a dollhouse was. I hope one day she sees this video. RE: Curio-I came to the conclusion that people have used what they had over the years and I needed something to store toiletries for the house. That curio cabinet was not being used for anything. I realized that It was perfect! Keep your eye out for pieces on Ebay, they have some great deals! Even if it is stained already you can up-cycle/ or refinish it to suit your taste and style! HAVE FUN!
This dollhouse is such a treasure of the heart and so lovely. I’m sure every piece in it has it’s own
sweet story. The parent’s bedroom is so dreamy and the bed looks so cozy comfy that it made me wish I could shrink myself and climb under the pretty sheets! 😍

Oh yeah! I also have a picture of Sojourner Truth in my 19th century Rebel Women house, as well as in my actual full sized sitting room. Same picture as you have. In my Rebel Women House there are 100 portraits of important women from that time as well as 5 hand made dolls. Lucretia Mott, Mother Jones, Harriet Tubman, Buffalo Calf Road Woman and Cora L.V. Scott-each fantastically brave and a stalwart for justice in their own right.

I’ve always been in love with miniatures but only recently have I begun to collect and make miniatures. I love all the tiny additions to your rooms. I wait, thinking someone will come walking through the door. The paper clip purse is brilliant! I love it! The green silk chair is so lovely.
You must show us how to make those folded clothes to lay on the or perhaps hanging out of a drawer.
Keep surprising us.

You nailed it! Yes 70's and 80's is when i did the bulk of my creating for this Dollhouse! Yes I LOVE DETAILS! I TRULY feel Like the Details make a Dollhouse look REAL and ALIVE, instead of it being just a Room filled with furniture.

Yes Tamara, this bathroom is in my ORIGINAL Childhood Dollhouse. The other one i finished on this channel is inside the ROOMING HOUSE DOLLHOUSE.
Can you tell me a glue that allows you to make a mistake?
Hi Deborah! I'm not sure what you mean by allowing you to make a mistake. ....LOLOLOL! I get Glue on everything! LOLOLOLOL! Tacky Glue dries clear, but it depends on the project! Let me know what you are working on and i can recommend a type. But you can you use blue painter's tape to mask off areas you are trying to protect, like acetate or faux plastic glass. plus there are glues that are specifically for glass. Let me know.
