he did say brunch at 5:08
Maybe you're too western. This is an Indian inspired dish, looks just like roti prata. I'm not Indian but my family used to eat that for breakfast at the local Indian restaurant and it's delicious
diestar1 as he said its normal to eat something like this in india... in india they eat two of these easily per person
Since people aren't taking the time to read what's already been commented and aren't reading what's been said accurately I'm just going to go ahead and close this thread. I think everything has been said that needs to be. I can't wait to try this one day.
my breakfast : cigar and 2 red bulls
Rmmm that's healthy af
hahahahahahahahahahaha
Rmmm I have a similar breakfast. I usually have a blunt and three cups of coffee. Then throughout the day I have a blunt and coffee and occasionally junk food 😂
Season the Red Bulls with a touch of salt, pepper and add in a tablespoon of butter; let it cook for 2 and a half minutes per side and then straight into the oven preheated at 375. After 15 minutes remove from the oven, add some olive oil, more salt, pepper and a dash of turmeric; add 2 tablespoons of salt and pepper, stir and add a dash of salt... PERFECT!
hookers piss and a pipe of opium for me !
He's so cute, he teaches from the bottom of his heart
Viviana yes !
"Today im going to make--"
Me: oh hes just making his intro *looks away for 3 seconds*
" and thats how you make the perfect brunch"
Me: wtf?!?
Its European twist on our very old masala dosa :D
this dude has a whole new meaning to what a teaspoon is lol
THIS IS A MASALA DOSA - A SOUTH INDIAN DISH. STOP MAKING IT SEEM LIKE ITS A WESTERN FANCY DISH.
Dosa is made using lentil and rice, and it is a vegetarian dish, no eggs in the batter.
@@aghoshx vegetarian allows for eggs. You must mean vegan.
@@aghoshx sounds good though 👌😋
Maurice M no, actually in India , if egg is added, it’s not vegetarian .
@@mauricem7007 Eggs are not considered vegetarian in India. Vegetarians do intake dairy products, which vegans don't.
Love from India , btw it's called Dosa
😂
Btw when did Indian eat dosa made from wheat..it's always from rice..
@@annmaryantony6582 naah , it's mixture of different kinds of flour + rice flour..
@@rukmanidongre3177 rice flour and black gram..to be exact..no need for Extra flours 🤣🤣🤣
@@annmaryantony6582
We do make wheat dosa too.
Its an easy breakfast, as it doesn't need fermentation.
he forgot to season the ginger and garlic
There's nothing worse than bland garlic
Omg u can't season ginger and garlic they're already a seasoning lol u silly!!!!!!
@@llll1573 that was a joke

In Gordon Ramsay's world, 1 Teaspoon = 1 whole bottle
Ramsay takes out the seeds of chilli,
Me: Boiiiii you weak.!!!
Yeah the seeds are the best part
it's never too spicy!
The heat is actually in the white pith of the chilli
That looks absofuckinglutely delicious!
Trust me, it is.
Jason M as an Indian I agree
Recipe similar to the Masala dosa you get in South India.
Exactly what I thought, too - I like Gordons spicy pancake as an alternative to the Dosa. He is using Indian spices like Jeera, Rai, Haldipowder...
So that's why he mentioned India O_o
Makes sense. I think he lived in India for a while.
Richard Mongler Watch Ramsey's great escapes :)
No shit, Sherlock
First off we dont usually add eggs to this traditional breakfast
Its more like neer (water) dosa or uttapam
mahima mr it’s more of a pancake mix minus the milk, sugar and baking soda. More on the savoury side.
so what? he's doing his own version.
At least this takes less than 20 minutes to make. Traditional dosas need 36 hours of prep time *cries*
I went in to see the video thinking of something interesting ....but found our good old Indian Masala Dosa recipe turned into a flour based Pancake
To those calling this a dosa, it's not a dosa it's a pancake, look at the ingredients.
Source: I'm south Indian
I might start signing my comments with "source: my ethnicity"
At least you're smart enough to get that it is a fusion recipe. All Indians acting like he just messed up dosa.
By the time you finish cooking everything it will be dark outside.
I felt he burned those crepes a little. Lol
Made this for lunch and it was delicious. Imagined Gordon screaming at me while I did it ;)
He used regular flour ri8?
03:51 Pancake was changed in between the cuts. But Gordon Ramsay delvers as always!
1:24 a little teaspoon of Turmeric 😂😂 more like 2 tablespoons
I once added an entire tablespoon of tumeric powder to the pot and my mom flipped.
Stomach: I'm so hungry.
Brain: Let's watch some food videos.
"Just a teaspoon of Olive oil" Pours half the fkn bottle in 🤣
