The regeneration of the Thymus is a current topic. Particularly, the use of Russian bioregulators such as Vladonix (A-6) and Thymic Protein A. Teach us how we can regenerate the Thymus and overcome future illnesses. Apparently, there are scientific studies and experts supporting the regeneration of the Thymus.
@Animated biology With arpan sir as it says the thymus will be inactive on adulthood, then how is the t lymphocytes matures in the adulthood time? Bcz the TCR(t cell receptors)forming on the T cell membrane are said to be specific to the pathogenic antigen(by the response of related specific genes like TAG 1 or TAG 2 genes).Isnt this process of new pathogen encounter to be happened in furthur phase of ones life,so then isnt the thymus need to be active for those specific kind of functioning related to T Lymphocyte development? So again,my qstn is is thymus active in adulthood,if not ,how the t cells are developed in adults?
I got the answer sir, Bcz on t cell production itself diff types of TCR having diff t cells are produced. So during an infection ,the t cells having the tcr, ie compactable to those pathogen will get activated and do their function Isn't it sir?
HIV attacts the thymus....the thymus is "said" to contract and shrink normally with age, however this is not as significant as the common medical knowedge believes
Sorry but can someone please explain me more about the positve and negative selection when T cells are trained by the thymic epithelial cells? what is "MHC restriction" like? I need it for the coming test at school. If you know, guide me as soon as possible. Thank you so much

For one Tcell and after TCR genes rearrangement will there be MANY types of TCRs or a single type of it which could be ( Alpha, Beta )or (gamma, Delta)
One tcr type should be found in a particular T cell.. because after tcr vdj recombination one particular type is formed. But in a population of T cell we can find diversity of TCR
