It's bad enough when the New 52 did this, but did Injustice also have to have Jaime keep the fact that he's Blue Beetle a secret from his friends and family? That's one of the reasons Jaime's original series was so good: his friends and family were a constant presence in his life both in when he's civilian and superhero, which made it feel personal. Every other writer just wants to keep them out and just have Jaime interact with the superheroes and that's it.
