Its sad that her body was never found. In those moments, you can see her confusion, she doesn't understand what Norman is doing, and she ends up dying without understanding anything. Even though everyone thought she was dead, the fact that everyone thinks that, and that they never found out how she actually died, is very sad.
The show only does the wig when someone else sees Norman portraying Norma. Other scenes like this is when we’re solely watching it from how Norman views it

I am a big fan of Hitchcock. I had watch Psycho a lot of times. Freddie Highmore is outstanding! Perkins and Alfred would be proud of him. I love how the producers replied the house and the motel as the movie's.
I thought this was heartbreaking when I first saw it. Norman loved Bradley so much in S1 and early S2. He was always kind to her, and treated her alot better than that jerk Alex (not 100% on his name, but I'm pretty sure it was Alex). He even helped her get out of white pine bay on a bus with money to support her. Then, she returned. He still liked her, but he didn't care about her as much anymore after spending so much time apart. Even then, you can til he felt terrible seeing Bradley's body. How am I a sicko, exactly? I just wrote about how Norman unintentionally killed the girl he once loved. I didn't say I enjoyed it, or anything along that nature. I just simply stated that this scene was heartbreaking, and why I thought it was. You do realize that Norman didn't want to kill Bradley? Aside from the shower murder scene in S5, Norman never had control when he murdered someone. His Mother personality always overtook him and at that point, he has essentially no control over what happens. Don't get me wrong, I feel bad for Bradley. Her life was in complete shambles, everyone she knew and love, thought she was dead and got over it, pretty much forgetting she ever existed. She just wanted to be with Norman, but the fates were violently against them, sadly. I did say the scene was heartbreaking when I first saw it. I actually liked Bradley in S1, and was bummed when she left in S2. Then, I got happy when they announced between seasons that she was coming back to the show. However, She only came back for about the last three episodes and got killed off ☹ It sucks, she was pretty interesting as a character, but I guess she had no story left from a narrative standpoint and therefore, was best to killed off the show. It wasn't easy for me to watch when I first saw it, and it still isn't to this day.

I think it was a combination of both. Knowing he was leaving his mother and the town she's in, and Bradley confirming to him that he's leaving his mom caused the mother's personality to emerge since it felt threatened by everything going on and took out Bradley.

Leaving with Bradley is neither any of these cases... so this killing is only for the sake of drama? I can’t understand the logic or psychology behind this...
Mother gets jealous of the women Norman is attracted to. The reason for his split personality's jealousy is because Norman believed the real Norma had the same incestuous crush on him that he did on her. Whatever the Mother personality did was something Norman believed the real Norma would do.
Since Norman is actually taking over his moms norms and thoughts Bradley is actually a very dangerous factor. As mom says he would die without mom. And that’s what Norman thinks subconsciously too. That’s why everything that parts those two has to disappear!

In some ways it does make sense, that Norman's deep rooted obsession with his mother and this mother alter ego felt threatened by one of the only girls Norman had truly cared for, and he had to "kill" this girl so that mother would be the only one in his life. I do think that the show intended for Bradley to be real and Norman really did physically kill her, but given just how mentally unstable and insane Norman is, it's at least somewhat plausible.

Question. Without spoilers please could someone give me some TV shows that have moments like this. I love how we spend seasons slowly learning and figuring out exactly what was going on and we knew what had happened and we knew we were going to see it again. And then suddenly it happens. My wife and I were both like "oh my God it's happening" as we watched Norman transform and kill her. So without any spoilers could anyone give any shows that does something similar.

Question. Without spoilers please could someone give me some TV shows that have moments like this. I love how we spend seasons slowly learning and figuring out exactly what was going on and we knew what had happened and we knew we were going to see it again. And then suddenly it happens. My wife and I were both like "oh my God it's happening" as we watched Norman transform and kill her. So without any spoilers could anyone give any shows that does something similar.
