How to add a movie screen in your vehicle

In this episode of “Fort Kickass”, we explore how to add a do it yourself home theatre system to my stealth truck bed camper rig.
Fort Kickass is a project truck of mine that is used as a stealth camper. A stealth camper, sometimes also called an over lander rig, truck bed camper, etc. is generally a nondescript truck or van that from the outside looks like any regular vehicle, and yet on the inside is usually an entire tiny home system. I used a minimum viable product approach to this and have been able to complete three revisions to the frame made of 2x4’s and plywood. Installed is a power system that provides 120v using a pure sine wave inverter that is used to power our projector, laptop/phone, and heated blanket. The truck itself is a 2008 ford ranger with the 4.0 L v6 (also found in the Mazda B4000 and the v6 mustang of the same year), 4x4 transmission, SuperCab body with 6 foot box, standard height leer topper with limo tint windows, and it’s wheels wrapped in BF Goodrich K02 tire which if I were to review them I’d recommend them strongly.

Where do I go to buy the insulation? I know in the group you told me it was a big difference. I wanna do this for my Jeep.

I got mine from home hardware in 30 foot rolls for around $1/foot. I’d suggest looking on amazon for it (reflectix) since it’s probably cheaper. It’s the same material as used in garage door insulation kits so look into just using those if you can’t find the rolls of it. Also hot water tank covers are pretty much the same material as well and are easier to find
