How can i also rent that japanese dad? He looks nice
I grew up without a dad also. Now I want to do this one day also 😊
First two videos which he recently uploaded.....
it's pretty nice...... It also works on both sides of happiness...
this content is amazing!
Where can I book him? ❤help guys
Who else is chopping onions here? The video made me cry because this month is the 7th anniversary of my father's death. Makes me really miss my father & memories of traveling with him while holding his hand. I love you Dad ❤ And thank you Josie ❤️
This was a poignant video that touched me on several levels. I could see the deep yearning on your face for the father who wasn’t there. That the gentleman was so authentic made it all the more appealing. I myself lost my dad 3 years ago and my 21 year old son this year. I could see myself playing dad to a younger person- I do miss being dad! Lastly I could also use a father figure myself to chat with over a drink in the evenings.
"That must have been a very difficult time for you, it seems like fate played a joke on you. Please stay strong, God bless you. My English is not very good, so please forgive me if I've made any mistakes."
@@kkair7077 your English is unimportant. Your kindness speaks loudly and that is important. Thank you for your comment.
I'm sorry for your loss. I hope you stay strong and don't be disappointed in life because Death is not the end.
I'm only a few minutes in, and I'm tearing up. This is so special. I 100% understand how you feel. What a great experience. Beautiful video.
Ah Josie what a beautifully brought wholesome video. I love watching it and even shedded a little tear during your conclusion. Will be smiling extra hard at the people I walk by today. Thanks for sharing ❤
Josie! This was brilliant! Fun, fascinating, and touching. And he evidently did a pretty compelling job too- Hays saw me watching and goes “that guy looks like Ten! (my dad) his beard is the same.” 😂
What a beautiful vlog!!! I had the biggest smile on my face the whole time !!! the beautiful msg at the end brought me to tears ….THANK YOU 💕
So poignant Josie, as so very well presented. Especially this time of year. Loneliness is a huge issue world wide and more so since pandemic. We all truly do need to slow down and look around, take in our surroundings. Appreciate the little things and be kind to one another. A Very Big Well Done Josie ❤
What a lovely story! I can't wait to arrive in Japan next week!
This was so lovely. Really great video Josie, one of your best ever.
This was such a special video. I’m really happy you had such a positive experience and thank you for being so vulnerable to share. As always, this video of yours put a smile on my face 💕

A big hug from Ireland!
This video really made me so emotional. I nearly cried😢
Heartfelt message about people and the world we now live in. Hey, if your Mum watches this video she'll know what her Christmas present is- haha. Always providing different content, thank you for sharing your experiences/adventures.
Just stumbled upon your channel and I love your positivity ❤
I really enjoyed this video a lot. What a beautiful friendly soul. You have a new subscriber. Looking forward to watching the rest of your videos now 😊
This video is lovely, especially for the words shared at the ending of the video.
Bloody brilliant video Josie. As someone who had very little time with a father figure (dad left when i was 6) i totally get missing out on many memories others are fortunate to have. ❤
Sorry to hear from you, life is not easy, we need to cherish it, Ty for your inspiration
Well said Josie!! ALL of it!
absolutely love the message at the end, there's so much hate these days. I remember growing up we were taught to love each!
Such an interesting video, definitely worth the early more stress and anxiety. Keep making amazing content.
Aww you used my fav memory. I'm sat here blubbering now. Lovely video. Sorry you never got to spend time with your dad but your mum sounds amazing xx
What a wonderful activity!
Probably your best video to date. Very interesting!
This is one of the best J-vlog for sure in a way.
You remind me sooo much of my cousin who’s currently living in the uk!, we barely meet nowadays but your bubbly and lively personality reminds me of good memories I’ve had with her when I was younger 🤍
Josie u bring lots of positivity ☺️
Thank you for sharing your exprience of renting a dad. It brings back memories of my dad. You were asking people what they did with their dad. I remember going on walks with him whether to the grocery store or to the park. He loved walking and he'd tell me about his experiences in the US Army while living in Germany right after WWII ended. He was there for the reconstrucion. I find myself wishing he was still here. I know it's selfish on my part, but I really miss him.
Awww this was truly a lovely video to watch! You must've had the best time while filming ✨ Also your mum might find out her Christmas presents if she watches this😅
Oh Josie what a lovely thing to do.
😁😁😊🤍🤍
Josie. Your beautiful mind flows like the spring water with the spirits of the past.
Guess who just came over from watching you both at 4am Incheon Airport, Josie Vlogs Things 💁🏽♀️🙋🏽♀️ meeeeeee!! Subscribed ❤️
Such a beautiful video! 🥹❤️
Your story is just like my girlfriend's ,her father died before she was born and her mom didn't remarried.
The moment he left is the moment tears started catching up😭
What a lovely and great story
This video is so wholesome. ❤
Best channel out there!!!!
❤❤❤
I lost my mom in ‘16 and my dad a few months ago. I could definitely see myself renting parents because life without them feels so lonely and empty, and sometimes you realllly need a parent, no matter how old you get. But I think I might be even more heartbroken if I did because I would have to give them up after the day is over.
That’s probably how these people make their real money, from the regulars.
I don't know why I'm loving this idea of renting a father figure😊
Aww I loved this one!!
Damn this was hella wholesome.
Thank you!!! This video was one of my favourites haha 🥹😊

Very touching video!

I've heard you can rent a date, a spouse and a room. Never in my days have i heard you can rent a dad.
You are full of surprises
god damn it!!! I came here for fun but it become emotional at last
Awesome video. The takeaway for me was that all people who feel afraid or skeptical about other races should travel to other parts of the world. If they do that, the world would be a better place. Thanks for sharing your experience!
Hello Josie👋👋👋 This was amazing, I’m very intrigued by you renting a dad for the day, that’s incredible. Listen, I had my father till I was 19yrs old and he passed away suddenly, we sadly had a very tumultuous relationship, he was very hard on me both physically and emotionally from a very young age and I was his only daughter, the middle child of 3🥹 It was so bad that when I was told he passed away, on April Fools Day 1981 I was only upset bc I knew he’d left my mom with a mountain of bills/debts, I had just moved out of the family home a week prior to his passing bc our fighting was out of control, I couldn’t be around him any longer🤦🏻♀️ So it may have been the best for you never knowing your dad, IMO bc I had one but don’t have fond memories of him at all🤷🏻♀️ Maybe renting a dad in the US should be a thing I might just take advantage of although I’m pretty old so I suppose I’d be renting a dad only to be caring for him and changing his nappies for a day😝 JK😂😂🤣 TYFS, your rental dad seemed very kind and sweet, I’m glad you had an enjoyable time with him♥️💫✨👼🏻✨💫♥️
Touching video ❤
I love this video..make more human connection videos..we are different. But the difference gives us new things..experience, happiness, respect,...yaaa like your life more colour.
lovely video, watch many times.😀
4:08 AW 🥺
I love this video ❤❤❤
When Conan rented his family, I laughed, but when you did it, I was really touched. 😢 Thanks. 🙏🏻
Loneliness in Japan is real. It's just the way it is. Once you are not part of a group your connections are usually lost. Like if you trained in something like judo and you decide to quite, you most likely will not hear from those people again, or at least they will not go out of their way.
Now imagine being a foreigner in Japan.
LOL It's the same in most countries.
@@user-qm7jw I'm sure it is, but Japan is on a different level. I've kept up with lots of people from my past in the states. I've been in Japan for over 15 years and besides my wife, I have no friends.

日本人の大人同士だと特に理由のない限り、仲良くなる事が少ないのは事実です😢
貴方の友達が増える事を願ってます
I like this. It's kind.
Nice vlog from Tokyo.
Hei Josie and Michael 🇦🇺🇦🇺Are you going to visit Santa Claus Village in Rovaniemi,Finland for this Year's Christmas festival 🎅🎉
With a new guy(dad) you don't have feelings, Renting a dad, even temporarily, can be a unique experience. It might feel a bit distant at first, making it hard to express your true feelings. Despite the temporary nature, try to find joy in the moments you share."
This is one of the most unique businesses in the world. Do only foreign visitors hire them or Japanese also hire them?
Nice video I am Assamese From Assam ❤❤❤
