Let me start by saying that I am a fan. I can see the genius in your design capability combined with your geometric brilliance. The music in this piece makes it easy to create cool but disjointed flashes of lighting scenes with no continuity. It truly is a beautiful mess. I can only imagine that it must’ve taken you a lot time ,energy and effort ,not to mention creative mind power to create the randomness of this piece . I would be more interested to see your designs that are a little more fully realized by the transitions and creativity to tell me a story about the entire piece, from beginning to end. That’s what will be remembered after the show. You obviously have the talent. I know what most intelligent fixtures can do, I more interested in what you do with those fixtures as a convention to enhance the progression of the performance. I see moments of that beautiful transition and some of your work. I would just like to see more of your ability to incorporate that type of creativity and your designs. From what I can tell a lot of other lighting shows are absolutely influenced by your work. And some are borderline copies. Did I mention that I’m a fan of your work. Give them hell.
First of all, thank you Shawn for your sincerely opinion, this lighting shows was an official lighting demo of our company DAGE lighting back to 2017, we hired an abandoned warehouse nearby our factory in the cold december by then, the total rig start with the truss till it finished the program, took less than 2 weeks, and the lighting programming is within 24 hours, by a famous LD in China, now, name is Wang Peng, which has been cooperaed with us for years, this program was not so perfect by then, but due to the time issue, we couldn't do it better, as there has too many jobs and full schedule of the LD by the end of the year, we don't have much time to improve it, so it's a pity, this LD lately have worked with many big Cultural tourism projects, and some tv shows, but he didn't have TH-cam account, or he will be very famous in here, thank you anyway for comign to us.
Yo I'm trying to learn more about lighting, the board I'm learning on is GrandMA3, and I know a decent amount, but I'm curious what software this was done on? and also how you have that many lights hooked up to a software for example GrandMA3 can have 8 DMX universes so 4000 channels and I bet you one of those spots is probably like 24 channels. My guess would be that this was done on ma2 because ma3 likes to crash sometimes, also was this done live or on timecode or something? But yeah the lighting is awesome bro good job!

How is it wired, can you please show wiring management of DMX. I mean how do you manage so many power and DMX cables, and splitters and which console was used for this ?

As a cinematographer, this is jaw dropping.
its not that hard to do. I mean it requires skill yes but you can pick it up quickly if you have knowledge already on lights, DMX. ETC.
Yeah, video editing and light editing has common ground. Just need to know the in and out of dmx and cabling etc.

They are not that extremely expensive, however if this would have been lasers instead it would have been insanely expensive.
Depends on the brand cheap moving heads can cost 100 bucks or top of the line can cost you a couple grand per light

Stage moving head light
燈具分類排列的很有巧思，設計對燈具也一定花了不少時間研究以及各種GOBO的搭配。
而且設計在這段秀裡面所有Cue的編寫及連結絕大部分都很棒特別是在mark cue的部分！
目前燈具應該大部分都是無刷馬達了。
有一點點小瑕疵，就是在1：30開始時有很多spot 藍光有gobo 那邊，我猜想您是想要讓spot的tilt隨著音樂一起走，不過看起來變成是抖動了，我的建議是在這段音樂tilt 移動時可以把cue link改成wait。或許會有你想要的畫面。。。
還有在1：20那一段，提前10秒放霧，效果會跳出來。或許你有機會可以試試看。
以上只是小弟的看法及想法。而我已經離開燈光界。看到大歌有如此驚人的進步真的是很高興也感動。
