- This is my own take on a DIY case for the ATEM Mini Pro. It has all the proper I/O ports (including Audio) a fan and a Multiview built in.

I am building one too. I am putting all the connectors and power in the acrylic shelf to keep the case waterproof. Inside I am including a stream bridge to allow for program out. I am also using a headless raspberry pi for a stream deck that I can remote into using vnc viewer if I need to. A small switch inside will allow the pi, bridge, and mini pro to connect to the ethernet together. For the plastic shelf, I plan to use 1/4 inch black plexiglass glass from home depot. Once I have this, I also plan to build one for the extreme. The only thing I have to work out is mounting the screen mount, and the corner brackets to the case, thinking of using jb weld and scuffing the surface up to see if it'll bond.
I'm doing the same thing with the exception of having a separate sound mixer v.s. using the ATEM Mini Pro mixer. I'm slowly buying all the parts. Thank you for added inspiration.
Like your build have started mine and should be noted it is going to cost you around $200.00 for everything. For me it is well worth it because I want everything in one spot and not scattered all over a table. Portability is everything to me. Randy below is right about the thickness of the deck it should be 1/4 inch but remember plexiglass isn't cheep. All in all it will be a fun project and I'm looking forward to share with you all when done. Happy streaming.

Thanks looking at doing this myself for local football games - so looking at all the ideas.
There are a few ideas floating around out there. This is just what I came up with. I want to do something similar with my Extreme ISO but I want it to be a lower profile. This case it a bit tall when you put it on a table and try to use it.
@@redbearddoes1720 Thanks - just about completed first season of football with a Mini in a small Pelican case - now at 4 cameras so will upgrade to a Mini Pro or ISO. I think an AEG tool case is probably the solution. Low profile but definately need the bigger screen and multi-view to switch on a sport.

You have real estate at the top off the board where the ATEM is .. make use of Velcro for lightweight products like hdmi splitters and add a glint router …
I see the exhaust for hot air, how does air get in? Side vents to bring in air would be useful. Else there's going to be a vacuum. Pretty build.
In the first version of this I did have 2 fans but choose to only do 1 on this version. The Mini Pro has fans so this fan is mainly to just get that hot air out of the case and not much else. I don't expect a lot of heat being created in the case, you could use smaller laptop blowers and still probably be overly safe.

this will get you all of his parts. I used the one's called Clamps. no change for the ones that hold the ATEM I did adjust them to hold the monitor.
Looking to build my own case for my ATEM SDI PRO ISO
Nice job. Thinking about the streamdeck, could you add a USB patch panel that the streamdeck plugs in to, then use a USB A to USB A cable to connect to your computer? That way you are not getting the USB hub issue since it's a direct connect

I did not, I kind of just gave up. but I do believe it is doable
What are you using to power the fan?
Are you using a 5 volt usb fan?

What clips are you using for the monitor?

But I made it taller to accommodate the monitor being thicker than the lip of the Mini
Why? - You still have to carry cables to set all up. - Put all you need in a case like that for transport and you are done. - Why all that?
Yes, You still have to carry your HDMI cables for Inputs and USB cables for connecting to the computer.
Why? Because it was fun to make, and the same reason people build flypacks in general or rackmount anything to anything else. It does cut down on set up time.
@@redbearddoes1720 I totally agree, set up is much faster because you do not have all the cables hanging out the back of the ATEM Then you just plug into the case the cables. it is also less stress in the ATEM because trust and believe after you keep plugging and plugs pulling on the back of the ATEM Or someone walks by and catches their foot on the cable if you damage one of the cable inputs on the back for 7 bucks you replace it, rip one out the ATEM and your cooked.
