I've flown about a dozen times, but man showering on a plane sounds odd to me lol. How is it allowed under safety regs I wonder, do you have a strap in case there's turbulence? Is the floor completely non slip? (Imagine running into heavy turbulence in a slippery shower stall lol). Like I know rich people try to do fckn everything uneccessary just bc they can pay for it but 💀 and all that weight for carrying xtra shower water? Idk it seems very very pointless

My dad and I flew Etihad first to Kolkata and back in December (LHR - AUH A380 Apartments, AUH - CCU A320 business, return ticket with the same planes and cabins). First time flying First but honestly, the customer service didn't even match the business of Emirates or Qatar. Didn't get offered mattresses in first, and had to ask for them, when in Qatar and Emirates, they literally offer them to you without prompting, even in Business. Steak was cooked to well done, despite asking for rare. The food was bland, and the only enjoyable part of it was the sticky toffee pudding on the LHR to AUH flight. In business of Emirates or Qatar they check in on you, ask you how the food is sometimes, help you as soon as you ask for it, and are even up for a casual conversation. None of that in Etihad, no smiles or anything and didn't do anything more than what was absolutely required.
@@Chapa24. if that was the case then I think it was pointless for them to have asked me how I would’ve liked my steak cooked. Also I’ve seen some reviewers that fly first class on Etihad and Emirates also getting to choose how they would like their steaks cooked and they received them how they ordered it. Guess next time I’ll just walk on board carrying a camera to see if maybe they give me some more attention.
Agree re First on USA carriers. I flew AA on points in 2023 and it was a waste of points. Lesson learnt. Flying Qatar in first in May so hoping it is much better.
Hey Dan, I really love your videos and appreciate what you do for us❤ A small request of mine to come to India and review and compare some of the airlines here😊 you don't need to hurry you can do it when you like to.
Yeah it looks so difficult spending most of your time in upscale luxury. Sorry, I had to. I’m positive he works very hard on filming, editing & uploading. 😂❤
If money is not an object then everyone would fly first class or even better, with private jet. Ultra wealthy people don’t even fly commercial airlines.
when i first flew an airplane. i was about 14. it was emirates's economy. i literally thought the economy was the business class and that economy doesn't have a screen and its just a seat that doesn't recline. i also thought the food they brought to me to be not free LOL. i wonder what that says about me.
Not all fist and business are build the same some business especially from emirate or Singapore airlines are exceptional and are comparable to other first class carriers a lot of carrier today dont even offer first class anymore and those that do only have 6 of them per flight mostly in wide body long haul flights but assuming we are talking about the same carrier the comfort and service jump from economy to business is absolutely massive while the jump from business to first is marginal.
I still don’t get why people drop thousands or even tens of thousands of dollars on a more luxurious plane seat for an 8 hr flight. That just baffles me. It’s the equivalent of flushing your money down the toilet
Cattle class is pretty inhumane, esp long haul. I have done Singapore Airlines business long haul (beds), it was great. But for medium haul, don't need beds. I hate BA with a passion. In cattle class, broken seat, and due to health issues needed to stretch, they were utterly appalling, and I would never fly with them again. Ever.
Referring to British Airlines? I once did a flight to Scotland from Chicago in steerage. The upside is I got seated by an emergency exit, so all the leg room you need! Down side I was right by the lavatories; door opening and closing constantly and god awful smells. I thought people knew no BMs on planes!
I would explain it like that. I First you feel you are guest in Business a passenger in Economy like heard of cattle and low cost carrier you treated bulk goods. (Schüttgut in German)
economy is like riding a bus. business: an S class first class (middle eastern): a maybach 90% of us don't need first. 100% of us shouldnt have to endure economy.
Some first class also have showers. That is a major positive, that is a bit better than showering in the arrival terminal
Its varying beetween compagny !

If you fly emirates 777 business class then there is no difference between business class and economy 😂
The fare is different lol
@@kita_morii exactly. Tbh the economy on 777 emirates is way better value than business class because it’s just too old and not fit for purpose!

Steaks are pre cooked when being loaded to the flight. Flight attendants don’t cook the meals. They only heat them.

Ikr right a was on a 777-200er business with air India but my seat was broken from mumbai to sfo
Dont forget that there were cockroaches too
First Class Qantas for me. The service is the best. 👏🇦🇺
90% of first and business class passengers do not use their own money to buy the tickets. Most are sponsored by company or using miles. Facts.
It's literally called....Business class...you weapon 😂
Also, first class you have more personal storage space. though, some new business class setups have improved.
I see _a lot_ of SWISS🇨🇭 here. 😁
And in business class you also a lounge and get an iPad (iPad for some I think).
I dream to travel in business class with my cat one day ❤️
Well described.
Well said!
Do Singapore airlines first class
