Here's a real time update - Frank from Florida followed the Video - The Reset did not solve the problems with his MC602 - We did some additional troubleshooting - Frank will be send his MC602 in for repair - Chris
They probably kept it hidden so all those saved settings wouldn't be accidentally erased. Good thing you're an honest guy. There are people who'd make money 'repairing' stuff like this.
Hi midhamm: That could be true - it would have been better if they had put an actual switch on the circuit board - I don't like the idea of people jabbing around on the board, with a metal object. . . Chris
My unit exactly. I Just fixed our terribly crackling system with a few tools and contact spray. It Works like new now and Surprisingly the accompanying 6 change CD player works perfectly as well. I forgot how much we enjoyed it. Thanks for your helpful videos.
I have an M & S 902 intercom system. I thought it was dead but after messing with it for a whole day, I managed to get the music and door bell working. I can't get anything on my intercom to work. Music works, door bell works, sort of, but the intercom just has awful static coming out of it. The problem is, I use this system to talk to anyone coming to my gate at the end of a driveway. The unit at the gate still functions in regards to the keypad to open the gate but no intercom or doorbell from that unit is working. No one seems to know what's going on. I saw that you sprayed something on something to get the weird noise to stop coming from intercom but you didn't explain where the spray went. I am NOT an electrician but I try to do what I can by watching google....can you help me. The bids I have received to replace this system are out of my budget. I need to fix this thing! Thanks for whatever help you can offer. Carla

Hi Zhurak: I have repaired many MC602's which have failed switches on the Master Station - The Switches can be replaced - you can contact us directly about this - Chris nscompany@msn.com
@@northsideservicecompany3567 Thanks for fast reply, apart from fixing it, im wondering if you could recommend a more modern replacement. These systems are a bit dated and I would p[refer to have something with bluetooth and a nice touch screen instead. The existing wiring throughout the home is the real value here, so is there anything modern that can interface with this?
@@Zhurak You will need to research what is available as a replacement that suits your requirements - Remember, this is a "System" so anything new you choose will require replacement of all the original equipment - Chris
I am able to perform the reset. When I does so, it quickly scrolls through a bunch of numbers and ultimately the display shows a number 32, with none of the white buttons working. Any thoughts?
HI David: You have a proble with either a Remote Station - Wiring to a Remote Station - Master Station problem - or a combination of these possible problems - Further troubleshooting is required to find the true source of the problem - Chris
