This was their first performance of Black Swan ever. They taped the James Corden show when they were here in Jan of 2020 when they were hyping their new album Map of the Soul 7. They filmed the Black Swan and the On MVs while they were in Cali. They also did this choreography barefoot, which always shocks me lol

This was actually the first time we saw the choreography so it was really awesome. Their MV wasn’t out yet. All we saw was their orchestral MV. 😊💜

these boys are amazing performers.
This is the first time performing “Black Swan” with the choreography last year. I don’t know about anyone else but it gives me wings era with fake love & blood sweat tears vibes. It is the third time being on his show, their debut appearance was “DNA” on top of playing Flinch game and the second time was released by Fake Love”. Our guys came out like seven swan bosses taking everyone’s wigs and the Hide & Seek game they played afterwards was hilariously adorable which I felt so bad for jimin, jin and JK for being man handled by Ashton Kutcher but James walked all the way back to set with Suga & Taehyung one by one.

Checkout the guys on the left side of screen at 4:00....during a Live, J-Hope and V shared that V accidentally clipped J-Hope on the head with his foot. You see Hobi kind of rub his forehead. They both said good thing they were barefoot

Not sure if anyone has mentioned it but BTS will be on The Tonight Show with Jimmy Fallon every night this week! Please react to their performances! So far all 3 have been FIRE! 🔥
You should watch the first video that was released as an Art version of this song, using a contemporary dance troupe. It was more like ballet, with bare feet, classical instruments, violins, cellos etc. So since BTS didn't do that version, this was their first live version of the song, staying with the bare feet, trying to make it more contemporary dance/ballet, since the song is based upon the Black Swan. Hence the floor looks like water, and they are dressed in black representing swans You can see that part where they come back in, it's like how you would see in ballet, when they single file come in.

this performance is something so different from bts than what we’re used to from them! but that’s what makes bts so exceptional, you never know what their next step will be! have you checked lyrics for this song? it’s about their fear of losing passion for the thing they love the most - their music. it’s very deep! oh and also bts are dropping new album on november 20th just so you know😄

this performance was something that was done for the first time like the song was tremendous, the choreo is not common as it was a type of contemporary dance , them dancing barefoot, live vocals , the production. Everything was on point also this performance gained attention from many non armys and converted them into army😊

One of the performances that i like and to think they danced barefoot which is harder because of the lesser grip and friction in the stage while dancing.

This was the first live debut for Black Swan
There is such a thing as a "Black Swan Event". For an event to qualify as a Black Swan it must meet three criteria. 1. It must come as a surprise or a shock, 2. It must have a major impact, and 3. After the event is over and we look back to realizing that we should have known it would happen. A Lil sump in to sharpen your Jeopardy skills, stay well.

This was probably the last show they did with a live audience. After their USA promo, they came back to Korea & all the shows on korea had no audience 😭.

J-Hope got kicked in the face when they were on the ground and did that spin to stand up - around the time you called out Jin. He went on like a pro. It wasn’t until that night when he did a VLive that he mentioned it. He said it hurt.

Nope they haven't performed this before. It's really their very first time doing it right after the song dropped. That's why we can't contain our excitement during that time. I remembered I was in school teaching but I stopped just to watch it live! Forgive me 😂
