I have a feeling they're just doing this for the 25th anniversary. If they keep doing this, they'll run out of staples to print kinda like you say...
This is what Yugioh needed. Making these staples more accessible will hopefully make the game appealing to new players. My one gripe is that the platinum secret rare isn’t like the original. Its one of my favorite rarities
Yeah it’s definitely what we needed, my whole binder to tank in value. Sold most of them on mention of this set but damn if they continue this, all our cards will be just cardboard. It’s sad

All y’all bellyaching. Look at what Pokémon does. They don’t do massive reprint sets like this but they put the packs in box sets and do multiple waves of sets all the time. Put good cards as promos all the time. Along with massive high rarity cards in the sets that are highly collectible. Their singles are cheap, even the competitive ones. But the game has survived still
Pokémon thrives because of the switch and Pokémon go, no because of the cards, yugioh is the exact opposite , they survive of the card game and a little bit of master duel
@@arneldeleon2610 It's kinda exactly what Konami needs, because even the shareholders are getting sick of the lack of new consumers and players, basically you can't keep selling products that only support resellers and collectors it just isn't viable.
So what makes sense is to have products that have chase cards for collectors that have no impact on the game since lower rarity options are available, it's kinda sad how comfortable this community is with exploiting rarity of meta cards for a profit and if that is a part of the market needs to die for the game to bring in more general consumers and players then good.
Other card games have proven you can have collectors enjoying shiny cardboard, resellers, selling bulk and the shiny rarities while casual and competitive consumers can pull the cards they need or buy them at bulk prices.
Because of how little yugioh products are for general consumers most stores I know wont stock yugioh packs beyond like a couple booster boxes of a new set because what's the point consumers wont buy stuff they cant take and play with with the deck build sets being the worse offenders because even opening a full box in no way allows you to "Build a Deck" from those pulls especially when it's only 3 Ultra rares per box.
For a beginner collector and a newbie at locals 😅... this set is honestly so insane to me. So many beautiful cards 🤌
That Ultimate Rare "Change of Heart" looks absolutely bonkers good. Like holy cow that is some quality cardboard.
My favorite part of this set is that it offers so much for people just starting yugioh. It allows them to get easy access to staples to help them play them game or it offers them chance to have trade bait towards upgrading their deck.

Great vid btw the Baronne de fleur you pull at 13:43 has a big red mark on left side down by the text of the card just so know and what I'm looking forward to pot of prosperity need one more for play set hope I win the cards lol
I love the fact that prosperity has been reprinted. It’s been impossible for budget players like myself to be able to pick up these kinds of cards and is really nice that we can play meta cards. I also love that effect veiled got its first secret printing 💪💪💪💪

Honestly. this looks like one of the best reprints we've gotten. Really helps get some cards that are normally expensive.

@@yugishortsmany people care more about actually playing with the cards, and meta cards sometimes being 80+ euro makes that stupidly expensive.
You should do a video covering all the rarities of a single card to show everyone the differences between them, it'd be pretty useful now and in the future tbh

I LOVE how many staples are in this set! Really makes the game so much more affordable, and with gorgeous high-rarity versions of iconic cards for collectors. Been waiting months for this!

I absolutely love that this set not only has so many great staples that can be in all rarities. It’s great for cheap deck building and collectors alike. While I liked Photon hypernova, cyberstorm access, and age of overlord, this set is something everyone needed.

I picked up an Ulti Darklaw during YCS Philly when it was around $400 for a LP copy. It hurts the wallet quite a bit, but i love seeing the game become more friendly towards newer players buying staples and such.

Love this set both from a really cool looking card standpoint and because of the reprinting meta staples to make them more accessible without completely tanking the value of other prints (hopefully). Would love to pull that change of heart as a 25th anniversary rarity

These boxes are so cool! Love the rarity shake ups for the staples, and some of my favorite cards like Dark Law!
I always loved the OCG-Collections and really love the TCG version now. Sooo hyped about it. I love the different rarities and that a lot of the cards are somewhat useful.
Super hyped for the rarities and especially the reprints making older/sought after cards more available for casual players and collectors! My favorites gotta be the Dark Law and Faris reprints!
I gotta say the pulls are great but I love the top of the box that they made like a collector rare. That was a nice touch. also Baroone at 13:43 slight misprint on the text box
Yeah got an Ultra Rare Sphere mode, but what I did not expect is God Slime 2x one being Collectors rare, and the other prismatic ultimate. I am at least satisfied with Sphere mode, and Godslime.

I love this set! Opened a box and I love the chance of getting an ulti alt art eldlich, triple tac secret, ultra imperm, super ash, and super pot of prosperity in one pack
It's great that they're bringing out a lot of fan favorites alongside some really hard hitters, really sweet diverse pool of cards to choose from

Favorite part about this set is the reprint of Egyptian God Slime. Card was completely unobtainable due to its price but now everyone can get an affordable version and chase a higher rarity from this Collection.

This set will definitely help out players who want certain cards that weren't reprint before and newer collectors wanting to make their starting collections look pretty.

Forbidden Droplet and God Slime are the most researched card for me. Can't wait to open those packs tomorrow
This set is such a godsend. Really looking forward to upgrading some of the less desired cards I have like benten while also finally being able to afford some staples.
I love the look of the trap cards as qc rare. I like the baron reprint and the Egyptian god slime reprint.
This set is awesome! It's a blast to open while also making so many more important staples affordable for everyone. I do also think some of the higher rarity versions of cards will hold value just because there are so many different cards of each of those higher rarities to pull.
Gotta love this set. That Ulty rarity is nice. I’m hoping for a QCR Ash Blossom in my boxes on Friday
I agree that the silver name on the collectors rare is much better than the gold name, but what sells it to me is the scattered star pattern all over the card! I think that is just cool and I want an entire deck with that rarity if I could. Gorgeous!
I love this set, I think it's wild that the Ocg does this studf with their rarities ALL THE TIME and we get shafted when we buy it in the tcg
I really like the new japanese ULT, they just look so good with the texture. Also greatly appreciate the reprints of staples, helps a lot make the game much more accessible for all to play, and as well as bling out for those who got the money.
The Baronne at 13:42 is a misprint. It has a red ink smudge on the right side of the text box.... I NEED IT

But why would it be bad if cards are more available? All you would loose are bragging rights.
Well no, some of us don't collect for bragging rights. Collectors lose value on cards they have because of reprints. It's not just a card game to some. It's income and continuation to enjoy the hobby of buying and selling cards.
I think you have to have a middle ground where you keep some cards hard to obtain otherwise you just devalue them, you lose customers due to no value in collecting anymore and then Konami is hurt by loss of revenue because less people are interested.@@simon6157
As someone who is returning to Yu-Gi-Oh and planning to compete in locals this set is amazing as it has reprints of all the important staples in duels, although I can see that the reprints are bad if you are a collector or a seller
Hyped for the set! Definitely need to get my hands on that Ash and get some extra copies of Infinite Impermanence and Evenly Matched.
I'm wondering if going forward we should expect the same Ulti finish in future OTS packs or what would happen to the Extra Secret rare. Not my favorite, but also might be weird to have that pop up again without the borders finished too.
Watching this only weeks away from RC2 release and the little blurb at 5:00 made me think of how Accesscode Talker is being reprinted for the 4th time. 5th if you count the starlight from BLCR.

Omg Red Eyes Flare Dragon carried me so much in Master Duel, I'm kinda tempted to get a few packs myself now just in hopes to get a nice print of that card!!
I like that they did this. Budget players get more access staples. I think they should have thrown in a ghost rare with 1 per 1-2 cases rates to spice things up for collectors though.

I am so glad they finally did this for yugioh I have been playing ever since I got my yugioh yugi structure deck it is nice to see the old staple cards back plus I love the different Rarities you can pull from this collection
I got two booster boxes already and the pulls are insane, so many useable cards, enough to bulk out several decks with killer spell, trap and effect monsters
May be late to the party but I've just ordered a box of this. Very excited to crack my first yugioh box, having just gotten into the game 😊

I’ve been super excited for the set because as a budget player I could finally get pretty looking cardboard but what sucks is the first case my guy got didn’t have ultis and they were replaced with crs
Now I can finally pick up the other 2 prosperities I needed and the TTT’s. I’m very happy about this set.

I got 2 boxes, where I pulled Properity and TTT in ultimate rare, although the highlight was Fallen of Albaz in "QCR" but the foiling is a combination of ultimate and QCR, what a misprint to get for a Branded player.
I pulled my ash blossom in my first box but some of my ultras were poor quality on the borders being sliced.
really loving the multiple rarities! I really hope this comes to the core sets as well so that those who desire it can have their blinged out decks and the rest of us can keep our super rare spright blues and such lol! hoping to see the new ulti imperms!
This set is sick, I can’t wait to finally get some of these cards that I’ve been priced out of for the longest time (looking at you, Baronne)! I’m a really big fan of the new ultis, I’ve only gotten a handful of packs but I got ulti Tour Guide and ulti Ice Dragon’s Prison and they both look absolutely beautiful!

As someone who is trying to get into the TCG from playing online I love the fact that they reprinted so many staples in this set and honestly would love to get any and all of those staples
