  • I swear by Myoovi when I have my period and it hurts. I didn't have it with me in the studio today (obviously, I was very grumpy) - but it went straight on when I got home. It's a TENS machine specifically designed for painful periods.

Rare to see an honest and transparent presentation these days. Kudos to you.

I love that you showed the real day you were having. My days look like that all the time but you’re self-employed, there’s endless orders and you just have to power through. It’s not always sunshine and daisies.

You are so down to earth. I look forward to each of these vlogs! They encourage me that my pottery journey can look like whatever I want it to and that it isn’t always making pretty things- it’s preparing clay, cleaning, and all the business stuff.
PS. I think that extra zero was meant to be! You should expect more orders and some experiment time to make some new things and also have some fun.

HeyLilly!

Well done!! You show the reality of having your own business and the fact you sometimes have to push yourself to do things. It's very different from being a hobby pottery when you have another income and have a choice when to pot ❤❤🤗

Huge respect for working despite a physically/mentally difficult day. Especially while self-employed, gosh. I have such a low tolerance for pain/discomfort I would've stayed at home lol take care of yourself and congrats on all the orders!

Thanks for showing the good, the bad and the ugly! I'm glad for you that it's mostly good. But people need to know that life is not all sunshine and lollipops. We all have our struggles! Hope you're feeling better!

you should definitely watch the toys movie A town Called Panic. Its a Belgian movie and its hilarious. Main story line: Cowboy and Indian want to surprise their friend Horse for his birthday but things go wrong when they accidently order much more bricks then needed to make a barbecue. It might help you see the funny side of the situation :p*

Periods are just #£@&! I’m alot older than you and still get taken out by them some months. I wanted to ask if you could do a video of what your art degree was like? I’m starting a Ceramics degree. What things you study during the 3 years. I’ve been told you get to make whatever you want. Free rein, amazing!!! Just wondering if there’s themes, or suggestions that in turn spark creativity. I realise it’s self motivating. I have ideas in my head, Im just thinking how it all works, what to expect. I’m so so so excited. It’s a complete change of path. I’m so lucky to have this chance at my age to follow a hidden passion of mine. I’m really new to the world of pottery. So different to my other life. I’m just not sure of the structure to the Ceramics degree. I know these types of topics are covered, clay, glazes, hand building, wheel, sculpture, drawing, decoration, kilns, firing, safety, and all the theory side which i cannot wait for, its the practical side which I wonder about. I know i should just wait and enjoy the process. I have got patience 😂 honest 😂

Fuck aesthetics, show the real studio. Clay prices will rise so you've saved money. Good shit talking about periods. What a solid ep!

It's ok to be human & have feelings. You still got a lot accoplished, while dealing with pain, nausea, & discomfort. So, cut yourself some slack. You did good.
    P.s: Periods suck!...
