I have a question. Does Arabic language contain the present continuous tense.??? For example I am eating something, and I eat something.both are not the same. So, does arabic language say it in one way???
@@Rahrahman9254 Hi I believe it’s called ism fael. For example instead of “He sits/ هو يجلس” you can say “He is sitting/هو جالس”. Maybe you can find a list of basic ism fael by search online!
I struggled with this concept too. In Arabic, sentences with present tense فعل مضارع can be translated as simple present tense (أجلِسُ على الكرسى I sit on the chair) or present continuous tense (أجلِسُ على الكرسى I am sitting on the 20:43 chair). You have to use the context to figure which meaning makes more sense
