The showdowns are for the Marble league what the EFL championship is for the Premier League. Just because it's not as popular doesn't mean it has to be canceled. Why not dubbel down on the showdowns instead? Winner of the showdown is auto qualifies for next year Marble League? Only relegate the bottom 3 teams to next years showdown to ensure you'll have enough teams for next years qualifiers. Granted; you will have to relegate the bottom 5 instead of 4 during the quantifiers to compensate, but at least in the showdowns there will be something worth fighting for.
I’m excited for the showdown. Even more than the real league! Why? My green ducks are stuck in it. If it wasn’t here then it would be sad to not see them until M1. No swing wave is not the best. I like block pushing, long jump, water events, balancing, and speed events because of my green ducks. I can tell you’re one of the six indigo stars fans for liking the showdown but I like it too and I’ve always had a favorite showdown team (Rojo Rollers but they got good this year so now of course ducks maybe hazers) I was thinking of switching to the O’rangers because watching my green ducks even I just was cheering OoOOoOoOoOo Please green ducks win the showdown and if not at least the 2nd event (for my birthday)
I just want the chance to laugh at the bad teams. B leagues, second tiers, whatever you want to call them are what makes sport special. If they want to be treated like an actual sports league, #SaveTheShowdowm
I cant say i really understand this push here. Im all for having the showdown, and if it was in danger of being done away with, (which i was unaware of), then i fully support the push to watch it and keep it alive. But the showdown is objectively not as important or interesting as the main league. I mean that's why one is called the MAIN league, while the showdown is referred to as the B-league. The whole objective is to be successful enouh to make it into the main league. I say all this while solking about the fact that the Hazers, the Oceanics, and the Green Ducks aren't in the main show. I think they absolutely deserve to compete, but i don't expect people to care about it more than the Marble League, and i myself don't care about it as much. Again i am unaware of the fact that it was in danger of dissolving, and i dont understand why JMR would do that. Wouldnt that only hurt the channel? Either way, yeah lets watch the crap out of it, but im not gonna pretend like it's my main interest in the channel.
@@OnionChoppingNinja well i have to disagree with that too. I don't think you should be rewarded for missing the prior years' ML over a team that actually made it. In other words, a team through the showdown should not take what would have been a qualifying spot from another team that actually competed in the ML. Also, I think 4 auto-qualified teams is plenty. Going to 5 auto-qualified teams would have over a quarter of the teams auto-qualified, and as mentioned, I don't think it'd be fair to teams who actually competed and who now have to struggle for one less qualifying spot next year. I will say, the one thing I feel needs to change, is the fact that qualifiers are split into two groups. I understand this method for certain events, like the sand race, or funnels, but for qualifiers, I think everyone should be on the same playing field, in the same competition. If not, you have some teams qualifying from one group while they did a worse job than other teams who didn't qualify in the other group, which I think is unfair in an overall competition. Again I get it in a single event; you gotta beat the competition next to you if you wanna advance. But for an overall competition I think it should be judged as one group.

That's why I firmly believe that the winner of the showdown should auto qualify for next year main league. Gives winning the showdown more value.
