2/25, Fur Elise and Moonlight Sonata. I'm so proud of myself.
Shame you didn't recognise DA DA DA DUNNN or Ode to Joy
@@chessematics Yeah, those are like, even more well known than Fur Elise I think and definitely more well known than the Moonlight Sonata.
@@caterscarrots3407 yeah. Ok, it's possible for them not to know Ode to Joy, but Fate motif is EVERYWHERE.
Chessematics Yeah. Not just in Beethoven’s Fifth Symphony. Not just in the works of Beethoven. Bach used it in his D major fugue from the second book of his WTC. And it can be found as late as Shostakovich. Heck, even I’ve used that motif in my own compositions.
@@caterscarrots3407 I'm very eager to listen to your compositions.

I don't listen to Beethoven at all but these videos always have some really good pieces that I've never heard about and I use it as a recommendation
Thanks! That's also one of my aims with these videos, to let you guys (and myself) discover new beautiful pieces :)
Bagatelle No. 25 in A Minor on the thumbnail :)
Aka fur elise
Fur Elise is popular because it's easy, played for your "loved", and public domain song.

Did you comment 4 days ago on a video that is 3 days ago?
@@sankalp_gupta it was a premiere so yeah he commented before the day the premiere started
I’m crying because I have already gone such a long way in Beethoven’s music, and guessed almost everything😭😭😭 I wish I could hear all this miracle again for the first time! Many thanks to the author for the work!
there are two types of beethoven fans: the ones who guessed the first as fur elise and the ones who said it was a bagatelle change my mind
also what about liszt next?
Hey that's me, thank you everyone for all the support
0:05 für elise
11:36 ode to joy

I did 12/25. Gotta know Beethoven better
Same mark, pianist have the advantage to know Beethoven's pieces, he wrote a lot for piano. I scored a lot on his symphonies. But the advantage with Beethoven is that even if I know his style I am never really disapointed by the new works I hear from him, never could have explained that.
The classic finale is here. "Let's end it with a joyous heart!"
was predictable but good choice for a finale
I only know the Symphonies 5, 9, Sonatas 14 I., and 21 only. Do Mozart because it's past his birthday 🎉.
Beethoven is more difficult than i thought...
Masterpieces, truly.
Thanks for including my favourites no. 27 and 32.
Man Beethoven music is so beautiful but you gotta listen to NF HE HAS SOME FIRE MUSIC
And Erik SATIE Gymonopedies that’s so beautiful
Noice yet another one of the greatest pianists and a video that I love
Hey!
That's 22 Beethoven pieces - you did different movements from the same sonata 3 times.
That's not just me being pedantic; it threw me, because when a piece has come you assume it's not going to come again, so you think (or I did) "what's that, it can't be that one because we've already had it"!
22
I enjoyed watching your video. Thanks for sharing.
9/25 I got completely murdered by all the sonatas
24/25 I only missed the four hands sonata because it's not really well known
