#12s were great machines.....just slow backing up. 12Es took care of that with 4 spd reverse. Loved the 12 & 12E.....best machines for fine grade ever.
Howdy there ol' Jeff. Love your enthusiasm for these old machines. But do you really think they can compare with the machines of today? Nah, not even close.
I have a good running D318 for sale. I took it out of my B-E 22B shovel. Late 1950's. Electric-start pony. Complete with drive clutch. Located at 05743
You might have a hard time telling from the video and the road is not far above grade. It has big ditches on both sides though, has held up great over the last 11yrs.
@@jpfiero The video clearly shows the road level being a least a foot below the grade level on both sides. Unless there was a significant amount of other material brought in later, this would be a lake in rain or melting snow

Dude, get yerself a 140m3.
Unless this ol' beast has sentimental value!
I assume that is a model of grader? I only use this a couple times a year, its completely mechanical and starts everytime.
@@jpfiero right on man.
Yep 140m3 is a common size grader.
if anyone out there is interested in the motor before I part it out and scrap what parts from it don't sell

BE CAREFUL.
Looks like you're building one long ass and shallow lake. The road is below grade level on the adjacent land.
