I've been a huge fan of TOH since the 80s watching it with my dad "over the air".... fast forward to 2020 and this is the content i want to see in 2020. Still love everything else you're doing, but THIS resonates with me as i'm tackling some new projects in my house.
All of my nail and staple guns are air-operated because I like the continued power air provides. I have one 16 gauge 18 volt nailer by Ryobi and it's all I need. The air 15 gauge is my go-to for me because it's between the 18 Guage and the framing nailer.
Thank you, Ryan Reynolds. Good stuff as I was gifted a pneumatic 15ga 34-degree GripRite finish nailer. Very helpful as I only have the 18ga Dewalt. I like using pneumatic nailers with 1/4" hoses.
This guy is either the oldest looking young guy, or the youngest looking old guy I’ve seen….regardless, this is the best video explaining the difference between these nail guns!
What length is each nail, ex 5/8? I didn't understand the numbers that were written. This is very helpful regarding gauge! (Hard of hearing) But this video is exactly what I've been looking for!
When explaining the nail sizes for the 16G I swear I hear you say that the nails range from "three and a quarter" to two and a half inches, I'm guessing you meant one and a quarter?
Music in stereo, voice on the left only. Otherwise, good content. I think I need an 18 gage gun for bead board on a cottage ceiling, and air to be light. Thanks!
My left ear learned a lot of information. My right ear got some good music vibes.
😆
Thank you! I often listen to TH-cam with just my right ear bud so I can also listen to what my kids are doing and I thought something was wrong.
I thought it was only me 😂😂
🤣🤣🤣 same!
Appreciate "to the point" style. No need to skip minutes ahead to get the info you need. Great explainer.
Finally I understood about gauges uses and differences. Thanks you!!!! For the information🙋♂️

Thanks great review, helped me in my decision making going for the Milwaukee cheers

Terrific comprehensive overview!
This vid is very very clear and helpful. One more subscriber.
Thanks. Gotta buy lots of stuff. This is not a cheap hobby.
Great video, great explanations. 👏👏👏👊🏼👊🏼
Excellent information

very well made
Great information thx
The audio is awful. Why is the speech audio so muffled and only on the left side?
Why is audio on left side only?
great video, thanks!
Thank you!

16 gauge will hold baseboards? I want to replace all by baseboards around the house, but confused on which nail gun to purchase
Heck an 18 gauge will. I used them on the baseboards I work on. No you don't have to pepper the hell out of them either,
@@REVerbtalk Thank You. What type of nail gun?
The 16 G will definitely hold it, the 18 G can as well, just shoot the nail in at a slight angle.
What will the glasses ??
Thanks .👍
Guys I'd make that Live logo go away or have it smaller. It's a distraction. Thanks.
Yes indeed it helped.
So 16 & 23 a good starting point ?
18 gauge less likely to split wood near the end. Or pre-drill. 23 gauge is too tiny except for thin molding, etc.

How much
What type of nailer and nail gauge do I need for wood bed frames, and its wood drawers?
Probably 18 gauge based on my experience.
For a professional organization such as TOH this audio is just unacceptable.
😂
At 2:01 he says "3 1/4 to 2 1/2 inches long"
sir i have a question.is it ok?
Am I the only one that hears out of the left side of my headphones?
if you put your headphones on backwards, you can have audio out of the right side.
Quay Maloney haha 😂 morning
@@qoway very scientific
my right ear hated this video
Where is Tommy Silva?
Earning the big bucks.
Pretty good except for that guy banging on the drum.
I have an adapter for my 9MM pistol that drives the 18 gauge fairly well.
You're not fooling anyone under those big glasses and hat. We know you aren't Tommy.
WHO IS THIS?!
The Bat Man
Lose the background sound it just destroys the production
Woodglut has very good designs and plans.
Audio on this video is trash
Terrible video. Music is to loud and the mans voice is to soft.
