    Thank you Sergio,
I'm exited to go into VR and I can well imagine that working with mouse or controller will be best effort to control the cockpit.
Maybe some day the integrated cameras of VR headsets recognize your free hands as a controller and human hands can be used to control switches in a cockpit.

There are some options on the market already (gloves or camera systems) but they are still in its infancy. It's a matter of time!
      Thanks for watching!

    Hi Sergio,
    I do like this format:-)
This topic is interesting indeed too since I am currently waiting for the Reverb G2!
    Keep this coming

Thanks for the video Sergio! Just wanted to add in, CaptoGlove is also working on the solution.

Indeed. There are a few companies out there trying to come up with the best product, but I think we'll have to wait a bit longer until there's some sort of standard. From what I understand, very often these advances stop because the game developers themselves don't support the product, which obviously ends up hindering those efforts.

I'm trying to see if vrfree gloves will work for this. I have a warthog hotas. Having some issues with calibration bit working with sensoryx to fix those. I love hardware gizmos I have spent hours and hours programming stuff on Logitech in LUA, am constantly finding with TM software for hoyas setup. Should probably spend more time flying !! I want to get properly into DCS, OSSIBLY XPLANE, I have VTOL VR and ED.

I also have the SensoryX gloves but, like you say, it's not easy to set up and it not always works perfectly. Until then, Knobster has really been a huge help since most of the time I am just dealing with frequencies as I fly around (non-military).
Thanks for watching and for pitching in! Great to see other helicopter fans being creative with solutions for VR!

    Well done, sir!
Here is one i get a lot... what is the difference between a "throttle" and a "collective", and why do i need both bound to my controls?

    • @stephansiebertz1870
      @stephansiebertz1870 4 ปีที่แล้ว +1

Hi, with the throttle you control the rpm of the rotor, which should be set up to a constant range when you intent to fly and lift of. Thankfully for a governor (most helicopter have one), rpm can be maintained automatically at this range.
The collective is used to control the pitch of the blades (comparable to rotating wings) which then generate the uplift.

@@stephansiebertz1870 I know all of this. LOL. I am offering SERGIO the question to make into a video , because it is a popular question that gets asked a lot. I appreciate you taking the time to write all this out, but you missed the point of my comment to SERGIO.
