    it is funny that out of all the elements the lightening supers are the ones that can cover the least amount of distance before petering out harmlessly. thundercrash is especially comical considering if you don't hit the ground, you lose your whole super for nothing.

      ​@@alphtheor.879 apparently you haven't ran Crown temp on warlock roaming super. Highly underrated. Let's you roam for 20secs only if a few adds are killd during. The moon battlefield gm is only hard if ppl can't clear that middle room fast enough before reinforcements come. Too many players focus on single target load...This super clears twice in the time frame

      I'll be honest and say i thought why is arc the weakest. Then you said except for hunter then it clicked, cause for me it feels like strand sucks. Especially the super. Not my thing.
      Edit: can't complain atm though as hunter main. All subclasses feel good atm. I'm not touching prismatic though. Don't really wanna use the meta. I'm having fun on stasis though. Have a few arctic drips I use while stasis and my almost og arc build I used when I started sometime just after witchqueen. (RIP Warmind cells) 😢

      is an awful cycle, make it
      - jolt nearby targets when they die, higher-tier targets jolt in a larger radius,(more similar to incandescent & destabilizing rounds)
      - have more than 1 single shot,
      - make the single-shot jolt ALL targets in a radius around the dude you hit, higher-tier targets jolt in a larger radius,
      Or do a Full Rework, same as one of the above, but instead of jolt, it's blind, name change to Flash Round(s) and add jolt rounds to Arc, like how Strand has Unraveling Rounds.
      ...I guess you could also keep Voltshot with one of the above changes and add Flash Rounds similar to Unraveling Rounds instead...

    It needs a damage resistance option. Solar has I’m not dying, void has now you see me now you don’t plus you die I get my health bar back (not to mention more fragments for healing,) strand also has im not dying, and stasis has a solid resist plus oversheld that also acts as healing plus the ability to literally freeze whoever you have beef with. This to me is the biggest reason why it falls behind. To my understanding, arc has something that works only on titans, a new damage resist while on warlock (which doesn’t matter much if you have to get that close to use it) and a fragment. I’m talking primarily pve

      I wanted something similar to stasis to where blind is significantly more active on the field. I always thought that jolt should be the catalyst for blind application, like how you could melee a jolted target to blind them on hunter

Tcrash literally requires an exotic swap on to be good, which is fine, but the issue is EVEN WITH THE EXOTIC, it’s still one of the weakest shut down/one and done supers in the game. Not only this, but the other shut downs, like twilight arsenal, nova bomb, needle storm, goldie, blade barrage, arc staff, don’t require you to get into the enemy’s face and still deal more damage than tcrash without needing an exotic + dealing WAY MORE with star eaters, which is only half of an exotic class item.
      The only shutdown in the game currently worse than tcrash is chaos reach, because bungie shafted arc warlocks from the start. Lazy aspects, even lazier than the ones titan and hunter got.

    I just gotta say the “design language” of tdt is amazing. The crumpled paper display transition, the music choice and sound effects; the videos literally *feel* good to watch. I wish I could edit videos a fraction as good as this

      To be fair they removed all abilities that allowed supers to be extended from kills. Across all classes and subclasses. It was just a general balance thing because it was ruining the crucible.

    I always had an idea of a verb named ‘Adrenaline’
    When amplified, Titans in particular would gain Adrenaline from one of their aspects, while a weaker version would be on fragments.
    Adrenaline would make it that as the arc guardians life goes down, they get a DR depending on %, while also gaining health when killing an arc rebuffed enemy.
    Dr would start at 70% health
    70%hp-10%dr
    60-20%
    50-30%
    40-40%
    The DR would cap at 40% and as health is gained, DR is lost. This would keep the loop of high intensity, close range gameplay looped with DR and Health boost based on killed enemies debuff Ed with arc verbs.
    For Titans, AdrenalineX2 can be available on an aspect, which would be a 15%Dr per stack, up from 10% at base.
    70%hp-15%
    60-30%
    50-45%
    40-60%
    This would give the titans increased melee range boost, a proper identity in the intended close range play style.
    This would also transfer over well into prismatic, with the need to heal from arc specific verbs, to any elemental verb.
    The heal won’t be restoration levels, but it would be a boon based on the amount of enemies killed at once

      I would love this, but personally, I would prefer this only on Titans. Make it replace juggernaut and work while amplified.
      TDT's galvanised should be for hunters while i would rework ionic traces to work like threadings that blind in a aoe while warlocks I would get an aspect that allows them to become a storm cloud

    I honestly want a hunter melee ability based on the storm's edge super. Maybe something like:
    "Blink Strike"
    "Throw an electrified knife. When the knife hits a surface or a target, you blink to its location and perform a melee strike (the standard knife stab present on most hunter subclasses).
    If the knife flies for long enough without impacting anything, it evaporates."

    I was thinking of a warlock exptic for some time. I call it Eye of the Storm
    Exotic perk - When you have a arc soul active and you cast chaos reach, your arc soul also cast chaos reach targeting the nearest enemy

    Arc titan needs to be based around ground movement. It's already almost the case with arc titan already with the thrusters. We need it to feel like quake or unreal tournament movement.

      I know I want 3 too because your right with only one there's no reason to use it really. Plus it's not broken to give us 3. Even with drengers lash they don't need to do anything since hunters have that strand dive and it's got about as much utility as that.
      Beyond all that I use it for titan skating purposes and that's about it. Like I said it feels a lot like unreal tournament's dodge.(Off topic but it's a shame epic games pulled all the unreal tournament and the unreal game from all storefronts so it's lost media. But hey at least I got all of them before that happened.) Look it up if you are curious about the thruster movement I want. I mean you can essentially bunny hops to get faster movement. But you can't airstrafe which the thrusters could make up for

    I think it’d be cool if Ionic Traces caused AOE damage. Any enemy caught in its path causes jolt or blinding. That would eliminate the need for closing the gap with melee.

    i think that if you’re amplified, you should have perma damage resist and enemies target you less often, due to your speed.
    and replace “speed booster” with “Blur”, which is the same as speed booster, but u also get the dmg resist from Amplified, but enemies can’t see you as easily; if you’re a blur, how can they shoot at you?

      I always thought speed booster should have been static electiricty themed ability where being amplified causes you to gather electricity around you increasing damage resist and causing you to release a static shock when hit by a melee attack. Or it could have been like an inverse scorch where as you gather stacks you doing little lightning attacks to enemies around you and once you have 100 stacks you jolt or blind everything around you.
      I love speed booster and all but it's pretty useless unless you want to speed run activities

    Overcharged: when amplified gathering ionic traces, dealing damage with arc weapons(charging is increased with exotic weapons), or movement charges your battery. When Overcharged, your arc weapons will slowly refill from reserves and grant a shocking bolt with every 5th round that grants a small amount of shields
    Feedback: While amplified, damage to you will be reduced while chaining some damage back to the source of damage.

      If you change it from jumping over to running a circle around an enemy and when the trail completes the circle you jolt everything inside it would be more balanced. Kind of like sonic in sonic frontiers

    Amplified also gives an invisible, but entirely functional, +50 to your mobility stat. This only really benefits hunters, again, due to their class ability cooldown being tied to it.

    While cool on paper, I would say change it be more ability oriented like Shieldcrush + DR instead of healing. They just need to significantly increase the reward part to be faster and more worth it. So let Amplified gain DR and increase base ability recharge by 50% when active. So easy example is Getaway Artist Warlock. They use consume their grenade to gain arc buddy and Amplified. If they have max Discipline then say they get their grenade back in 59 seconds base. With the 12 seconds of Amplifed, the regain is double during those 12 seconds so subtract 24 seconds from 59. You get 35 second base grenade recovery. That is what Amplified should become. More risk for more ability uptime.

      don't forget that getaway artist also gives grenade energy when sentient arc soul damages enemies, as well as getting energy from the arc pickups that warlocks excel in generating, thats getting out like three grenades every time your arc soul is up lol

    For warlocks, I think adding a jolt damage buff while amplified on one of the aspects would be good, also a callback to the original Arc Web feature and adding back some identity

      Arc hunter has 2 builds! There's the assassin's cowl combination blow build, but there's also the ascension exotic permanent resist+jolt+amplified build, which is good in team settings and high end content

    As a semi new player, it has always felt like Arc's survivability should be a mechanic like devour: Extreme risk/reward. Even if it was two steps. Let's call it Momentum. 1. If you don't have Momentum, then on arc ability or weapon kill gain momentum (similar to amplified). 2. If you have Momentum, your next kill that would give you Momentum extends the duration and restores your health. You get no survivability unless you are actively racking up kills, but you get all your health back on those chained kills. Hyper aggressive, you need to sprint at that next group of enemies before your buffs run out or you lose Momentum. Thinking like the gun Centrifuge and Devour had a baby.

    For Geomag Stabilizers, I've always loved the idea of it overcharging Chaos Reach instead turning it into a hyper-charged Railgun blast. Maybe deactivating the super uses the rest of your super energy to fire off a said railgun lightning blast - it'd make the damage come out much faster while allowing Warlock to finally have an Exotic option that changes how their super functions (like Celestial Nighthawk and Pyrogale Gauntlets)

      I agree with this on the fact that at least the Titan bonk can be done from a distance, and then retrieved. It also creates sunspots with some builds. CB is already high risk on Arc even with Assassins Cowl when setting up, nerfing that build without adequately building up the rest would kill Arcstrider. I’d argue CB is the most important part of its kit, then GS and even Gifted Conviction now for those running it

    Arc Warlock main here; never understood the concept of using arc for the melee; for me it’s mostly just chaining blinding and jolt to leave difficult enemies completely helpless for mid to long range, and spreading damage across ranges the other classes can’t handle or require more set up to do, and spamming ionic traces to get supers or share ability energy to supplement spamming abilities for teammates. Of course I wouldn’t mind an additional verb though, just not sure what I’d have to swap out to use it

    What went wrong in its original designs is that the dev team is closed minded, the reason why Titans are the tank class but not allowed to do so because "harder destiny content" is simply increasing enemy health bars and decreasing yours, so if tanks could negate that then well, they would be doing there job and who wants that. Same with arc it should be a speed class but bungie has openly stated their dislike for the "skill gap" in movement with various nerfs to airborne accuracy, movement tech and stomps of course (RIP my beloved stompers, and yes I am the destiny version of I benched 405 back in highschool)

      Literally all you need for good titan movement is jump spam macro or bind jump to scroll wheel. I just feel like strafe jump/boost/glide should strafe more than you can.

      @@theirishviking9278 you could bind jump to a button or bumper and still do it effectively (I have on my Xbox controller. at least. I did before I swapped to pc.(This was on the Xbox series s. I tried on Xbox one but that's got too little frames.) but you could also just go with a controller with macros to save your fingers) You don't need a scroll wheel or a macro I just used those as examples. It's not as bad as warlock skating. You still don't need a macro controller or scroll wheel for that either, but again it would help with accessibility. Though you could also just get a cheap turbo controller.

      All of what you just stated is still bad game design. I respect speed runners and people that master movement, but this kind of movement is not rewarding in actual combat gameplay aside from speed running raid mechanics. This sort of movement, especially when it is recommended to be used with macros/special controllers, should not be considered when designing a sandbox. It’s still fun to have though.

    I think it should get a debuff called negatively charged, that when targets get 100 stacks it gets struck by lightning even if it feels too close to other class verbs.

    I’ve recently been thinking about how I would change and add to each Subclass and the through line I came up with for Arc subclasses was to incentivize ability combos as if you’re playing a fighting game. Add a verb that allows for knockback resist (something no other Subclass type can do at the moment) on top of a little damage resist to further push for it. Ionic traces give energy to every ability already so, what if each type of ability had its own internal Trace cooldown? That way the different ability uses combo’d together is more rewarding than simply spamming one. It’s also helped me think of changes for Exotics like Raijuu’s Harness for example. A reworked Raijuu’s can keep the super cancel + blind effect but make it so ability chains give the user more ability energy on Ionic Trace pickup, and cancelling super can add to the chain. With maybe a max stack count of 5.

    My Suggestion:
    Conductor: Gain Damage Resist, Movement, and Dmg while maintaining movement and gaining kills. These stack, but with a somewhat short timer. When the timer Expires, The energy is released into either an AoE or Chain lightning Effect. Targets not killed initially, are Jolted. The idea of Arc is moving fast, with lots of damage, but as we saw with titans, Melee Range is never safe with anything Bungie touches.

    New keywords: buff: Overcharge - gives a boost to health pulsing every few moments, can possibly stack to 2x for faster pulse meaning more health, on timer 15s, duration. Refreshable, Defeating debuffed targets, can add/stack buff.
    Debuff: polarized - restricts combantants effectiveness (reduces aggressiveness/ abilities useage, Lowers their output), requires ionic trace, readied for 5s, lasts for 7s.
    ( Jolt might have the capability to spread the effect, might be to powerful with that tho the idea is it would only last half as long)

    watching this vid made me slowly realize that i didn't even remember what the "amplified" buff does, i straight up had to look it up since all i could recall was that it gave u speed boost after sprinting n yeah it sucks when looking at other similar neutral game buffs

    Arc should focus around charging you, super fast shield regeneration, movement speed that accelerates, momentum based damage (IE: as you move faster you hit harder and move faster.), throwing off accuracy of enemies just by moving quick, punching with an unpowered melee should blind on *hit* when you are charged, with higher charge stacks granting longer blind in a larger radius.
    Allow shooting while sprinting, sliding, jumping, jolt should be applied skill wise, not gun wise, jolt on reload on one target? No sir, jolt on a cooldown on any arc damage while charged period, allow you to perform rapid melee strikes with your offhand while shooting, titan: as you run faster, you can actually run *through* enemies to deal massive damage, losing stacks of amplification when doing so, while allowing your landings from large heights to create shockwaves that blind and deal damage.
    Juggernaut regenerates your shield and health while sprinting while consuming your barricade to offer a frontal shield while sprinting that breaks after taking enough damage.
    Knockout increases skill damage dramatically with each stack of charge, also gives you an extra melee and grenade charge, if you collide with and kill an enemy whole charged they just explode, while consuming amplification charges.
    Touch of thunder, allows you to zap targets around you with stunning electricity when you are sprinting, dealing more damage with higher stacks of charge, consuming charge stacks when it does so, in addition to its current functionality.

    Personally, I'd swap around the 50% DR from speed booster and put it onto amplified, and make speed booster the thing that gets the faster stow speed and reload speed. Even though that'd kinda be nuts, even still, realistically nobody would use it anyways.

    Arc holds a small place as my favorite simply due to a goofy ass build I had before the kickstart mod nerfs.
    Armamentarium, touch of thunder pulse grenades and 4 armour charges coupled with elemental charge to speed up the gains let me just keep throwing the damn things.
    And now I just can’t get the setup to work properly and I’m heartbroken about it.

    darci stunning any champ is really good, also increase its damage on stunned champs(maybe elite and minibosses too?) so it can be a good champ dealing exotic (for other support players who uses blinding gls, we got dmg now) but maybe change it to a aggressive frame to lower the reserves and punish misses and remove/reduce the flinch resist when locked on a target to make up for the enormous dmg buff[izanagi x4(w or wo catalyst idk) levels of dmg, but on stunned champs only]

    My problem with arc warlock is they ripped it apart and gave the scraps to everyone else. Jolt is an okay universal Arc Web, Ionic Traces were nerfed as they were passed around to everyone, pulsewave was turned into Amplified but removed the reload speed and gave it to hunters. Arc Souls are the only part of the kit left that's remotely Warlock's left, and they didn't even keep the part of the rift recharge buff that they added with the 30th anniversary which was a movement buff for being near allies (arguably also amplified fodder). It's just depressing.

    Can we talk about the "optimal beats fun" thing? This isn't arc specific, but it has always bothered me that anything that doesn't either trivialize GM level content or let you easily out dps the rest of your raid team is treated as pointless or unusable. I know for some, optimization is the fun part, but it still bothers me when potentially cool stuff is ignored just because other things have bigger numbers. Just my opinion. I do agree that arc could use some spice.

    Meesom, you realized what i have too huh. They're using current seasons as test updates for future content. If you look back, you'll see a bunch ability changes or perks that get re-released later.

      Also, if you want, they can make amplify amplify the abilities of your teammates. Make amplify stackable, and when you reach 5 or 10 stacks, then it can make you ionized which is comparable to prismatic or your teammates but just regular abilities and maybe even supers. So it has it own unique touch instead of just being light prismatic. It can steal the suspend part of strand and lock down opponents like a radilarion pool of arc with chains and everything. Also, add sunspots to solar when you pick up a solar sprite or when running a certain fragment or exotic.

    I’d like to introduce a non-class exclusive called the Procellae exotic allows you to Become a living, third rail during a super, so long as you’re in perpetual motion, allowing you to be hidden from enemy radar upon successful grenade, kills improve ark weapon damage after a successful arc charged melee attack, slightly faster super energy recharge, from teammates that are wearing the same exotic with each kill,
    Some of this could be added to a separate exotic or somehow incorporated into the arc class itself.

    Arc needs something that either resists damage or heals. Here’s an idea:
    Heart charge: defeating and enemy with arc abilities gives the player a tick effect (as fast as jolt) that heals players. Strong opponents grant a larger bonus.
    This allows us to close the gap and walk out alive even in big content

    An arc mechanic that i believe would fit perfectly for a survivability / crowd control verb is ‘static’ (referring to static shocks)
    You start with 5 stacks when activated and have two was off losing them:
    1: (static discharge) When hit with a melee u lose all stacks and do arc damage based on the amount of stacks of static you have, aswell as chaining to a number of targets but gets weaker as it chains to more people
    2: (fogged lightning) when hit by certain amount of ranged damage you’ll lose a stack and when your shield breaks you lose 2 stacks but on shield break gain the ability to be immune to small a number bullets (smgs 10, autos 8, scouts 2, pulses 1 burst, sniper 1, shotgun 6 pellets or 1 slug shot, fusion half a burst, linear 1)
    or zap a projectile like a rocket or grenade while shields are down (like a walking one off trophy system) this could be visualise with a bunch of lightning raging around you which gets less aggressive when u start losing immune hits or disappears after zapping a projectile. ( in pve fogged lightning could just be on a timer instead of bullet counters)
    Its been a while since i last played so i dont know what items, fragments or aspects could be used activate static
    It could an interesting (probably busted) mechanic

    Actually, another idea for a benefit of Amplified, have it be like the Always on Time Sparrow or The Manticore. When amplified, you move so fast to the enemy that it makes it harder for them to shoot you

    amplified also gives you 50 mobility, if you have 30 mobility in your build, and a lightweight frame weapon, you can get to 100 mobility for a very low opportunity cost of simply having a buff active.

    My changes
    running with Amplified charged galvanic charge. When fully charged you get a buff called concealed static. grants X 30 damage buff to all powered melee.
    Class ability’s have enhanced functionality with Galvanized active. Hunters dodge further. Rifts last longer. Titan barricades blind. Enemies that touch you while you are galvanized get pushed back. You take 30% less melee damage from enemies while Galvanized is active.
    Rework speed boosters. Shocking Velocity. Running builds up speed. Buff remains active until debuffed or you die. You crouch walk much faster. All weapons ready and stow instantly.
    Fragment. Out of phase. Your powered melee final blows build up your unpowered and powered melee speed. Stacks up to 7x
    New warlock super. Ionic polarity.
    Activating super charges you. You become a lightning rod. With large AOE damage radius. All weapons jolt in this State. All arc grenades have enhanced functionality with Ionic polarity active.
    That’s it. I might be here way too long if I keep going.

    I very rarely ever use any sort of Arc type in my Titan’s prismatic playstyle when playing Destiny 2, but to be completely honest, the only time I swap from the Strand/Solar super to using the Arc super is during the “Excision" mission. It really gets fun between the different parts when you get instant super recharge.

    I think a huge issue with Arc is the fact that our grenades don’t jolt automatically (minus Flashbang, cause it blinds). Every other grenade outta jolt on hit by default, imo.

    I think a couple other cool ideas would be:
    1) while amplified or galvanized, sprinting provides immediate health regen, and while in speed boost, health regen can't be interrupted
    2) Supers can be canceled early to conserve super energy

    How about for the 3rd arc super for titans, how about either:
    A: turns the titan’s arm into an arc gauntlet that shoots arc projectiles that jolt targets
    B: summon an arc shotgun that works similarly to Golden gun: Deadshot
    Or
    C: a one and done super where the titan slams his fist into the ground and sends an arc shockwave at his enemies

    Warlock arc feels so weird because you can literaly spam your abilities and have your super quickly... and yet it still feels weak because all it does is killing ads quickly which all the other subclasse can do it too very easily

    No, arc hunter sucks too. Having the subclass only be semi-viable in endgame ONLY WITH 1 EXOTIC makes it a bad subclass. The dodge punch melee build doesn't work in endgame unless you're playing solo, which is awkward and feels really bad when you have a teammate steal your kill and suddenly you're extremely weak. It needs something else. Tempest strike needs a MAJOR overhaul especially when consecration exists which was already 10x stronger BEFORE the buffs, now it's just an embarrassing disparity between the two abilities. That class ability nerf you suggested would straight up kill any and all desire I have to use combination blow ever again.
    Arc warlock is okay, but needs more survivability. Arc titan was crutching on storm nades and now it just feel's like 2 of the aspects it has are basically nothing. Jug is awful and knockout only works with melee builds which 9/10 times you're running a grenade build so it's worthless. They all need love, stop pretending like arc hunter is this untouchable god.

    Hey there just want to say I'm with you on the Arc needing to be buffed and a new Verb.
    I got a Verb that I think would be quite interesting on Arc as well. It's based on the Afterimage of Blink and I call it, Phase Shift:
    Channel a barrier full of Arc Light, distorting your body to take reduced damage, and getting a kill will u shield regen and refunds health. Sustained damage will break the barrier.
    It is a Fight or Flight ability but I think it could be good
    As for the Aspects on Titan and Warlock, you nearly hit the nail on the head with your ideas and improved them. And I love it.
    Especially the Supers.

    Fists needs a duration / slow drain of some type. Should also make terminal velocity be the longer in air the more spread out the after shocks or longer duration or damage I've of those. Thunder crash should literally get a streak of lightning from it's path, as well as higher impact damage the longer/ more distance covered.
    Chaos reach should get a super bolt (amped/ overcharged) State and/or increase in damage as time off the super goes on, it's also crazy the fact a big ass mega beam doesn't blind you.
    Storm trance should have anything hit by the star bolt initially fired jolt surviving targets.

    There is so many things they could do, and Idea I have been thinking of is think of an Arc titan who has speed boost periodically jolting enemies around them, like it fits. Sismic strike already shows sparks in front of the titan when they run.

    Introducing the "Mirrored Afterimage" on pickup of an Ionic Trace or an Orb of Power you gain a Mirror Stack (max. 10) any Enemy Projectile that hits you is returned to the Fighter with escalating damage Potency the more Stacks you hold (from 90% to 130%/10% to 25% in PvP). You loose all Stacks by dying or when your Shield is broken. At 10 Stacks with Class Ability Activation you create a walking and undying Afterimage of yourself (15 sec. Cooldown until another Stack can be gained) until it gets surrounded or finding a Boss (it homes in on Enemies). It can draw Enemy Fire but has lower aggro than the Player. When the Afterimage finds a suitable Target it explodes in a 20 m Radius dealing 25000 true Damage, ( true Damage ignores all Resistances and Reductions, except invurnability or indestructible Objects) Jolts and Blinds in that Radius. Aside from unbroken Barrier Champions. This either outright kills or severely weakens Champions keeping them easier to clean up. If you have 10 Mirror Stacks while activating your Super (yes only outside Prismatic Arc) the true Damage Effect applies to your Super (excluding in PvP).

    Arc warlock is actually kind of snazzy. Its role is add clear predominantly and it also can massively buff allies. Fallen star helm + ark conductor ergo sum for the gear, with arc syphons. Healing rifts with arc souls, ball lightning, blinding grenades, chaos reach for dps (you won’t need storm trance for add clear your be smoking everything while hardly paying attention), electrostatic mind to create more ionic traces. Spark of ions + spark of shock so grenade blind and jolt giving you two sources for ionic traces. Spark of beacons so you blind everything dying to your ergo making more ionic traces, and spark of resistance for more survivability. Allies near you get massively increased ability regen while you are collecting ionic traces too giving them more ability up time. It’s pretty solid you should for sure try it. Just for the heck of it I also use a firefight with osmosis to keep leaning into arc in my kinetic slot and an auto loading arc lmg in my heavy for more ranged dps to compliment the ergo sum.

    I got a rework idea for the hunter arc exotic raijus harness, make it so instead of being able to simply end your super, you can just THROW your staff and keep half of the remaining super, kinda like arc staff but a weaker version ofc

    Love these ideas. As an OG D2 Arc Titan, I've always been sad to see how my previously favourite subclass has slowly declined and shorted out, especially in the metas and endgame content. Having survivability, the power to cc the battlefield and also get some party buffs going really appeals, just like being able to consistently and effectively blind to aid in PvE content would be an amazing rework.

    What if Arc embodied the "Flash and Thunder" idea? That being to combo blind with a heavy attack, blind could be MUCH easier to proc, but it lasts much shorter, just a second or two, but it will last just long enough to charge up a heavy attack, like Titans Thunderclap.
    The main tool to start these combos could be the class abilities: if a hunter slides into a dodge, a bolt of lightning will strike their position and blind everything nearby, warlock rifts could empower your weapons so the next target you shoot is struck by lightning blinding them and everything near it. Titans could finally get their own dive ability that basically turns the titan into a bolt of lighting that will blind everything around the impact site.
    Then you could give each class their unique flavor of Thunderclap to follow up with.

    Changes id like to see to Striker:
    • I like the Galvanic Armor idea, give Striker easy access to this.
    • Make the healing from Knockout and Skullfort non-interuptable. You can still take damage and be killed while healing (similar to a healing rift), but the healing doesnt stop when you get hit.
    • Make PCCB either provide more melee energy on kills, or generate extra arc traces. Better ability looping this way.
    • Grant T-clap temporary Galvanic Armor while charging that lasts until the attack ends. This way its less of a liability to use in difficult content.
    • Buff Skullfort to grant additional damage to Seismic Strike while Galvanized, and to Ballistic Slam while Amplified. PCCB services Tclap, Skullfort services the other melees, making them less useless in tougher content.
    • Fix Tcrash to allow it to hit large enemies and bosses like Brigs and Shriekers!
    • Do a complete rework of Cuirass. Change its benefit to something entirely new, and transfer its damage buff to Tcrash's base damage. T crash is situational as it is, requires leaving cover to fly-tackle the target, and needing a swap exotic to even be viable is a huge pain in the rear. Give it something useful and competitive with other exotics, and make Tcrash stronger at base.
    • Add an AoE Blinding effect to Juggernaut. Perhaps trigger it on melee hits/kills.
    • Increase the slam damage on Fists of Havoc to make it more viable against single targets, but not a full replacement for T crash
    • Give Thruster an effect. Proc Amplified, set off a Blinding aoe -- something! Being just a movement that exists only for its low cooldown but have zero subclass interaction is lame. If you arent wearing HoIL or Hazardous Propulsion, its almost otherwise useless. It exists only for its cooldown. Let it do *something* !

    Honestly, the idea that I have for Queenbreaker is a Catalyst that would allow it to refund ammo based on the amount of hits that you get from its chain lightning perk. That would help it lean into the ad clear linear that Bungie wants it to be.

    Another Idea I have for a new melee for warlocks. It would be called "Lightning's Roar" and this melee it essentially force lightning. Tap the melee button to send out a quick ranged, moderate damage melee attack that jolts the target and creates and ionic trace. Hold to charge and blast a high damage, wide arc melee that jolts, stuns, creates ionic traces depending on how many enemies killed, and grants galvanized armor on kills.

    I've always thought that falling star should synergize with ballistic slam and I've had some ideas over the past year or so.
    My first idea as to how it would interact with slam is targets defeated by slam refund melee energy (capped at 50%, # value is just a place holder). While amplified defeated targets create a blinding explosion.
    My second idea is for collecting an ionic trace while you melee is fully charged increases your next ballistic slam damage and radius. Stacking 5 times for a maximum of a 50%? damage increase, direct impacts increase this effect.(a baby thundercrash for chunking champions lol)
    My third and final idea (for now). Defeating a target with ballistic slam or finisher grants a short period of increased super regeneration, if your super is full it grants a short period (10 seconds?) of increased melee damage and grants melee energy for each target defeated with melees. (when in doubt punch your way out)

    conductive; gives user a dmg %10 buff when getting kills with any arc ability or weapon
    Overcharged; defeating enemies affected by an arc debuff or while the user has an arc buff gives a small amount of health ans gives a small amount of dmg resist

    Love this video, almost every issue I had with arc 3.0 since launch is talked about here as an Arcstrider lover. Great ideas all-round, even if not all perfect, great for feeding discussion for potential change in the right direction. (Also, I personally would prefer if your Blight Ranger change applied Blind to enemies when blinking, not Jolt - I think it fits the patient/defensive playstyle a reflect-focused exotic is going for better)
    Although, I definitely wish Amplified provided pve DR at all times, and increased it during speed boost. It can still be a total 15% during speed boost, but like, give 10% of it while not under speed boost. There's many situations where sprinting constantly and sliding around to keep speed boost up is just unrealistic so you'll never really see this in effect unless you're ignoring enemies rather than shooting your guns.
    But there's some things not talked about I want to bring up.
    Arcstrider lost all of its POTENTIAL variety, even moreso if you care about being optimal like most do. Let me explain.
    Bottom tree arcstrider became fragments for all subclasses, or locked behind amplified (only part of which is from the aspect), making it effectively a killchaining-exclusive and primarily pve-oriented aspect of all arc builds rather than being a build of its own. Huge missed opportunity to give hunters a way to lean into blind more rather than jolt for a potential neutral and CC focused, more "defensive" and "patient" build (like you may expect out of a monk?) for pvp and pve. Your suggestion of 'killing blinded targets give melee energy' as a fragment helps remedy this.
    Middle tree arcstrider's melee ability is effectively neutered due to the fact that it is an aspect and entirely incapable of synergizing with top tree's aspect and Combination Blow. Galvanic armor has potential to remedy this if it gives galvanic on kill, and this would not affect the strength of combination blow/liars.
    Bladedancer's power fantasy was brought back... exclusively through blink jump and a super. Please give us a Blink Strike third melee ability option, bungie. Make it a longer cooldown melee ability like disorienting blow (not combination's blow 40 second nonsense), have extended lunge range (not stacking with the range from the aspect - but unlike glaives will proc the aftershock (glaives should too..)) with a blink animation, and deal more damage (not a one-shot in pvp, but more than uncharged melees, with it being extra-hard hitting in pve). It would make for an interestingly strong third option in pvp, and have a potential niche for some builds in pve due to the added base damage output. This would help people be able to really lean into Bladedancer again if they wish, rather than having the awkward "teleporting monk with bladedancer super" feel they have now.

    They should add an air drop as a default mechanic in to every class as a quick "get to ground" option. While the specific aspects in specific subclasses grant a special ability to that air drop. That might be helpful for how floaty arc ends up being while speed boost is active, so you don't immediately die after launching yourself in the air and getting targeted by every enemy in the room, as well as helping with platforming while speed boost is active so you don't over shoot your jumps.
    For hunter if you're gonna put a cooldown on Combination Blow triggers, I think you should increase the active time by a few seconds so when your teammates invenitably kill the target you were about to use to increase and/or extend your combo timer, at least you'll have a couple of extra seconds to find another target for them to deny you.

    Great video! Looking at that table though it seems solar is missing a verb too. I always thought it was missing something, maybe do a video on that? I think it needs something that isn't just another heal verb or burn.

    coming from someone that loves arc warlock, this would be awesome. would still like to see new exotic armor ontop of this. preferable in the chest or legs slots (theres to many exotic gauntlets in general)
    yeah. warlock has a void aspect and a solar aspect that modifies the grenade, but titan gets the arc aspect. i propose a trade. warlocks get touch of thunder, and titans get lightning surge.
    hunter gets the stasis grenade modification aspect (touch of winter) and i suppose thats fine. warlocks already got the strand one (mindspun invocation)

    Everything fits in perfectly with the power level of the game (and all the other subclasses) across all three classes, it's obvious a lot of thought was put into vetting every single suggestion here before it went into the video!
    This was extremely well thought out.
    Even the NAMES of all the abilities and aspects sound like they'd fit right in, the kind of thing you'd see in the actual game and think, "that's a good name".

    Season of the wish ability energy nerfs really hurt arc warlock more than any other class, which was struggling to keep up already. We pretty much need artifact nodes to be a complete class

    I'd love to see like a static charge for the elemental pick up. Looks like a ball of lightning that drops on enemy kill location. Static charge slowly tracks towards enemies AND players and is absorbed on contact. If enemy absorbs static, it's stunned. If a player absorbs static, they gain damage resist and jolt nearby enemies on melee hit(either hitting or getting hit)

    I think it would be cool if they made more enhanced arc abilities while amplified or galvanized like they did with the warlock melees and possibly have some abilities that can benefit from having both buffs active at once. An example of how this can work is with ball lightning releasing additional lighting strikes while amplified like normal, but while galvanized (and not amplified), it would behave like how it was described in the video as a stationary tesla turret that damages nearby enemies, and while both effects are active it will be a slow moving ball that shocks nearby targets while occasionally releasing a burst of lightning as it travels.

    I like the idea of leaning into what arc is trying to do. As someone who plays titan. I want to be able to play ranged because a subclass like strand does what arc is trying do just way better. I would love to see the titan kit get way more soldier oriented or have more of those options. Because in gms and all that higher tier content where getting up close is highly unadvised. I want more options for those kind of situations. And with arc needing a facelift that can be the opportunity to give titans especially more options. What are saying in the video for hunters and warlocks I really like. It’s difficult because hunters and warlocks have room to have melee options and expand that more. But titans need the opposite. Love the ideas brought forward.

    Those verbs and keywords are so much better than what I cooked up before, which focuses more on DR to fit the "while critically injured" fragments..
    and speaking of DR, speed boost needs something like a gauge ( think centrifuse ) or extra duration ( probably like 2.5s~ ) to keep the uptime easier when you stop moving for a while. Or make it stay on while you deal damage.

    Speed boost: meleeing an enemy while speed booster is active will deal 200% more melee damage (50% for powered), consuming speed booster.
    Blind: Increase base duration to 10s, but damaging blinded enemies reduce the duration to 3s and blinded enemies take 20% more damage.
    Alternatively: Double or Triple blinds radius and blind combatants based on distance to the blinding source. Close range: 6s, medium: 4s, far: 1-2s

    Proud to be one of those 0.11% on fist of Havoc. Eternal warrior w/literally any arc weapons is a beast, but especially GL's, Indebted, ergo sum, crux, and grand overture and the blinding Fragment. It's definitely an off meta but still very strong loadout.
    I will say that arc desperately needs a built in heal option as well. Been thinking this for a while. Glad it was the first point you brought up on how to properly buff arc subclasses as a whole

    IMO, speed booster should work with some of the melees. EX. shoulder charge gains +50% damage when done from speed booster.
