I could not agree with you more on every single point you made. Thanks for your post. It’s very positive and that’s always appreciated, especially these days!
Hi Joe, great video. I was lucky enough to have been at the O2 show on Thursday. I’ve been a Beatle fan for the last 45 years and have seen Paul a number of times. But I I never thought that I would see Ringo as he rarely plays outside of the States these days. It was such a thrill to see the two remaining Beatles play together it is something that I will always remember and treasure. The Beatles magic is still there and I am honoured to have been lucky enough to have seen and felt it.
I was at that gig and was delighted to see ringo Starr onstage. Seeing half the Beatles on stage in 2024 is amazing. Half the audience like myself weren’t even alive with the Beatles were still together which show the greatest of their music.
Thank you Joe for another great video a review of Paul and Ringo. Merry Christmas again to you and all you love. It is great to see them being friends..
Hey Joe, Excellent video!! You are correct 100%!!! I’m very tired of watching videos of people talk about the negative of these two people Paul and Ringo are legends!! Unlike MANY if not MOST stars from the 60’s they have always cared their popularity with strength and dignity. They could have both retired many years ago they could really phone it in But they don’t and for who? You Me and the millions of others who love the Beatles and Solo careers of these two men they are a Blessing to us all and people always harp about this or that it makes me sick. Thanks for the video Joe Take care!!!!
Right on Joe! You said it all , who knows when the last time will be. Those getting overly critical will never know or understand why these four guys mean so much to our lives.
I have a few words to say to those who criticize them, but i`m not going to say it. To see these two legends alive on stage in 2024 is more than anybody could ever wish for.
As far as i know Ringo came straight from the airport, and did not rehearse with Paul prior to the show. And Paul is 82 years old. I don`t understand the criticism at all, nor do i agree with it. I think Paul is singing better on this tour than he has been for years, and Ringo is still a great drummer.
He also played his old Cavern bass that was stolen 50 years ago. It was returned to him earlier this year, and he took it out for the first time and played it at the O2 show. He bought the bass in Hamburg before the Beatles was famous and used it on the two first Beatles albums. I would have loved to be there to see Ringo and Paul together. Ronnie Wood came on as a bonus. According to the newspaper reviews i`ve seen the show was 5/5.
It was a Class Act ! I also loved the Live in Manchester, which was incredible ! Some fine moment to end 2024, so many Beatles highlights, and yes, Paul's Live performance of Maybe I'm Amazed with the brilliant graphics on screen is so emotional, my all-time favorite, better than Jude, better than Pepper, better than Abbey Road Medley, it's the best song of all-time ! Thanks, for Sharing, Joe, Merry Christmas and have a Happy New Year !
I read the reviews in the UK newspapers, and they were fantastic. Everybody gave him 5/5, so i believe you when you say it was fantastic. To see Ringo with Paul on stage actually brought tears to my eyes.
I was there, sat in the 2nd row with Ringo just a few rows behind me throughout. He loved the concert. Ronnie Wood great as well, lots of celebrities attended. I was also lucky to attend the soundcheck which was a surreal experience being in an empty venue listening to Paul doing some deepcuts!
Yes, he really would have gotten a big reaction if Ringo had shouted, "I've got blisters on my fingers!" Still, I'm glad to see that they did this, and I like seeing the clips of them together.
anyone "criticizing" what these 2 men are doing, need a serious reality check, not only have they created MAGIC together, but looking at all the footage of everything about this tour, the MAGIC is still being created, Paul McCartney can move another human being from euphoria to tears, when all of the FAB 4 have gone, this world will be in shadow, luckily the only sunlight we will have, is their music.
I have a problem with this video ! .. tongue in cheek, but allow me my madness.. The two Beatle legends, old pals, mates played in London the O2 , but they played on the 19th of the 12 !!!! it's in the tour guide and on the t shirts 19/12/24.. !!! Otherwise, totally agree with all you said Joe, I thought Ringo nailed the beginning beat of pepper..merry christmas to all subscribers xx
Ringo at 84 doesn't have anything to prove he's living legend and we should be blessed the two are still here on earth with us giving us new music and live shows. Just seeing the two of them come together is a rare treat.
Great to see them together. Of course Ringo is going to be a little unsure. It’s not like he listens to or plays along to Helter Skelter in his down time. Who knows how much rehearsal, if any, Ringo had with them. So yeah he’s gonna look to Abe for cues. Like you said, all besides the point. Great seeing the two of them anywhere but especially on stage. Wish I was there.
I think the fact that Paul and Ringo still act so youthful, people forget how old they are! I agree with everything you said. It is an honor and a privilege that they get together from time to time, for these lucky audiences!
What’s with these people. They just don’t get it. At the end of the day, it’s not about fills, it’s about the fact that 2 icons were reunited on stage. We should be thankful that such an event happened.
Paul shall we rock Ringo I always rock!!! The world stop for a moment! This was a thrill! Mr Mayo this awesome stuff ! Complain those are idiots!!! Thanks Mr Mayo Paul and Ringo to me sounds great!!!!
It was great to see both of them on stage. I love Sgt Pepper reprise for it's very groovy funky rhythm but felt the drumming was pretty plodding and Helter Skelter sounded a little lame compared to the audio from the album, especially on headphones you get a wall of sound . I'm always going to these reactions videos from young people deciding to see and hear what the fuss is about with The Beatles, they are always shocked on hearing Helter Skelter and Strawberry fields forever and they then delve into their back catalogue and become fans. Not really sure that Helter Skelter can actually be performed live to do it justice.
This was my first time (of hopefully a few) of seeing Paul and I couldn't have been happier. This has been a long time coming and it couldn't have been any more special! Take care Joe
Congratulations on being there! I am only judging by the video I watched - my ears, nobody else's. I also referred to comments from people who liked the performance as well as those who did not.
Great points Joe! I couldn't be there last night, but I was at the O2 in 2018 when Paul was joined by Ringo and Ronnie Wood and that was a fantastic treat. Loved seeing the clips of them togetheragaiin and of course I hope it continues for some while yet!! 🙂🙏
We've seen Ringo get up and play these songs with Paul's band before...it's getting boring. At least Ringo should've had a lead vocal and play a different song for a change. How about 'Yellow Submarine' starting with John's demo version then Ringo takes over. Or play a whole concert together with some new players but no it's just the same, same old. Paul probably afraid he'll be upstaged.
@@gettinhungrig2 It doesn't get boring for me to see Ringo only playing HELTER SKELTER two times, like five years apart. However it has gotten boring for me seeing Ringo sing YELLOW SUBMARINE on tour for the last 35 years. The idea of playing an entire concert is fantasy.

Another stellar moment in the world of The Beatles! ❤🎶🎼🎵🎅🎄
Seeing the photos of them made me emotional. I absolutely loved seeing it
Just amazing. Even CNN reported on this. They are still headliners. Love it
I certainly enjoyed watching it on TH-cam. Concerts are about the atmosphere etc not always trying to replicate the records .
Well said totally agree just fabulous to see them both great short video
I was there, Joe! Was a wonderful night!
I could not agree with you more on every single point you made. Thanks for your post. It’s very positive and that’s always appreciated, especially these days!
As one might extrapolate from the evergreen wisdom of one Professor Heaton: Old Horses for old courses!..
I think that that show was amazing i always love too see Ringo and Paul live nice video my friend take care.

Thank you Joe for another great video a review of Paul and Ringo. Merry Christmas again to you and all you love. It is great to see them being friends..
Totally agree with you Joe. And I loved seeing Paul give Ringo a kiss on the cheek!
