Hi Nikki, I have never commented before but I do watch all your videos and I just want to say that you really blew the the roof off with these recipes. I hope you and your family are well and enjoying your trip and stay safe.
Wow, that bread was a bargain, 70¢ lettuce was nice. $35 budget is realistic, I could even get meat with that. I could stretch spaghetti Bolognese to 5 meals if I had a small salad or garlic bread with it. One dinner I eat a lot is the Woolies brand battered fish with potato gems/chips and steamed veggies, easily fit that in to a $35 budget. Those spinach wraps look good, I'll try them next week and make a fish and salad wrap. Great work Nikki.
I was very lucky in the marked down section! Depending on where you are & what you can find, $35 could give you heaps of options (but still be quite budget conscious). Fish n Chips sounds good! 👌
About 180*C, but adjust for your oven if need be (caravan ovens are notoriously unreliable for temperature control, so I'm not exactly sure what mine was set to ... but I was aiming for 180! Lol)
Omg these look delicious 🤤 Could you do a $90 budget for the week ? Were a family of 6 and struggling to find meals at the moment I want to eat less meat but unfortunately a lot of carnivores in the house lol 😂
Thank you!! I have some family sized meal ideas in quite a few of my other videos that might give you some ideas, and I will definitely have some more family sized "challenge" videos coming in the future 👍 Unfortunately though I can't help much on the carnivore side of things!
@@NikkiBeal thanks for the tip and I will try too find some of your other videos, I’m currently doing a use it up challenge this week for myself as I’ve got chrisco coming next week 😫 so best be getting what I only need this week
It can be really challenging for people living in (or travelling through) remote areas. There is often only 1 supermarket that only get deliveries once ot twice a week, so you get what you can get. And those supermarkets are hundreds of km's apart. You definitely need to plan ahead.(Also, we loved Broome! Can't wait to go back 😍)

Thanks for sharing 😁 I didnt think of using the liquid from the canned fruit to add extra flavour!
It works really well! And means you not need to worry about adding sugar or another type of sweetner 👍
@@NikkiBeal agree! 😊
Fancy seeing you here! The syrup from canned fruit is great for overnight oats too.

I lived in Broome for 2 yrs. (10 yrs ago) you have done amazing until you've seen remote living you have no idea

Hi Nikki! 😉
Hey! How are you?!
@@NikkiBeal I'm doing great, and all the better for seeing your video!
Loved it!
I have to say I don't know how you do vegan because I tried but couldn't live without eggs and cheese plus I do like chicken
Lol, I use to feel like that too, but now I don't even miss them!
That's $22.19 USD for anyone who cares. ;)
👍
