I've seen people who are skilled with CAD, Google SketchUp, etc. and their computer renderings look unbelievable. But when it comes to rendering on paper, they lack A LOT of skill. Many of my professors appreciate it when I choose to hand render rather than have a computer do it for me. Anybody can quickly learn how to use a computer program but being able to do everything without a computer is what an employer looks at.
nice if he indicated what makers as maker number he was using and subtitles not to mention blueprint paper does not allow for so many layers of color before ripping up
Felt compelled to share my experience here, I believe that those are color pencil. I am an interior design student and we do renders like this every week. I personally use prisma color pencil, but any other soft pencil crayons will work. :D

7 to 10 is very pricy. if you go to your local distributor or art store they should be only 4 to 5.. the highest i've seen was 7 but those were "specialty" colors. I am from Canada and usually our prices are a lot more than the states. I purchase my markers at around $4 +tax. .
What kind of paper are you using? I have some letraset promarkers, but can't seem to find the proper paper. It all sinks up immediately, and the shading is a little rough.

Each pf them costs between 7-10 dollars(they are kind of expensive). they are very soluble when painting, and you can blend them as if they are watercolors, but they are easier to use than watercolors. i dont know if you speak english, but I was wondering what paper you were using since the copics dont seem to bleed much.
