I really dislike the rhetoric of "simple clothing = haven't found your style". Clothings a form of expression, if a person wants to express themselves in a simple plain outfit thats equally as fine and stylish as someone wearing something extremely bold.
However - he said that with him it's not a choice of expression or style, rather a decision on comfort and practicality.
i even think simple clothing looks better than flashy clothes in most senses. let yourself talk more for you than your clothes, imo.

In my opinion, extravagant/flashy/outrageous doesn’t always (or even usually) equate with “most style(ish)”. Sometimes the “understated” look with proper colour coordination (or contrast), well fitting clothes, and optimally placed accessories can be the better choice. But to each his/her/their own.
I honestly think the clothes he wore was fine except the shoes. But I find it ironic that people say this cause men traditionally would wear skirts, makeup, wigs…

It would've been interesting for them to have a group of women behind the scenes anonymously rank them after each category as well to see the difference in the men's and women's perception of attractiveness but I really enjoyed this one, esp their comments at the end about it building their confidence and validation!

That’s just how it is. I know a genuinely beautiful girl that doesn’t get much attention because she’s introverted. Of course when we go out, she gets stares, but no guy comes up to her, maybe 1, but that’s it. My other friend on one hand gets twice as much attention because of her outgoing personality. This friend is cute, don’t get me wrong, but not nearly as much as my introverted friend.

I think confidence plays a big role when judging an outfit and he had plenty. You could see he was really enjoying what he was wearing and he was pretty comfortable in his outfit, that definitely is going to influence my final opinion.

You guys should add some incentive for honesty. Most of the contestants probably don't wanna say anything socially undesireable. I especially think this is true in style part of the video. I personally hated #1's outfit and I'm gonna be honest, I'm sure many of the other guys did too (I doubt if the voting was done anonymously that the ranking would be the same). But they just couldn't be honest about it which led to the #1 "outfit" being the worst in my opinion. I feel like this channel is promoting the idea of not speaking your mind and not being okay with what you think. It should be totally acceptable for me to dislike the outfit, but after watching the video I feel guilty about my opinion. In short: It's okay to dislike something but this video makes me feel like it's not.
These shoots go on for hours, so they likely said their opinions, but it was cut. Also, its likely that these rankings are based on majority rules, so if the majority of them agreed for #1 to be #1, you can't really cry about them "not being honest." I think all the guys were perfectly honest, but they said it in a tactful way which people on the internet seem to hate? Idk when we started associating tact with dishonesty, but it's a bit ridiculous.

If you watch enough of these Jubilee videos you can always tell where they're going. The feminine guys tend to be the favorites because they're the ones "breaking barriers" and "challenging the gender norm". All fine and well but we rarely hear anyone ever critique them, especially their outfits. They're immune to a lot of criticism in these vids because nobody wants to get hounded in the comments, and on the internet.

It would have been interesting for each person to judge the others with a number from 1-10 on a piece of paper before they found out anything about them. Then calculate the results and compare to how they ended up.
