    Thanks to all the people that have watched the video, hope you find it useful.
    You will notice in a section of the video there is a DragBoss Garage sticker, these were sent to me from the man himself, very much appreciated and everyone should go check out his channel (link in the description), fantastic content filled with tech and live chats with the biggest names in the industry, well worth a look 👍

      Thank you so much for the kind words Sean, it is my honor to have you display my DragBoss Garage sticker. you’re one of the few to have these. Thank you for showing them off. I try to find things that you’ve never seen or heard of before for my channel. Whether it’s racers, head, porters and tech, and soon to be whole carb tech video series, by APD. Hosted by DragBoss Garage. The quest continues for knowledge. That Cylinder Head is one of the most amazing works of art I’ve seen. It be nice if you did a live chat on DragBoss Garage, giving some of the advantage of the Cylinder Head over others. Why is it so popular. think about it Sean. 🏁🇦🇺👍

      @@DragBoss351Cleveland absolutely my pleasure to show off your stickers, you run a fantastic channel 👍
      I appreciate the compliments of my work, function is always first but if I can make it look good as well then wining 😁
      I will definitely consider your offer of a live chat mate, in the future I might put together a bit of a history of Ford Australia in-line 6 evolution and do your live chat to go through them 👍

    Excellent work.
    I always have a giggle to those that say "Barra's dont need porting to make big power". Yet, these people miss out on an extra 80cfm, or better put, an extra 32% airflow. This means less boost (heat), and less camshaft to get the same job done.
    It also sounds better!

    • @seanb250
      @seanb250  ปีที่แล้ว +5

      The stock port can support about 6500rpm on a stock 4L, that head is for a 4.2L spinning to 8500rpm so the area and flow is needed, it’s all math and as you said, better efficiency means less boost and heat to achieve the numbers 👍

    Those kind of flow figures could be an impressive na engine build, im trying to talk a friend into letting me build a itb na barra and i think 480hp na is quite achievable with e85 and 14-1 comp with a head like this and some 54-56mm throttles and some nice sized cams 🥹🥹🥹🥹 good video i enjoyed the content

      Yeah that Barra when the 4.2L bottom end is done calculates out to around 540hp at the crank N/A
      480hp is absolutely doable. In the not too distant future I will have a video out about a SOHC that sports one of heads and ported lower half of a BBM, it will make about 450hp at the crank and then hit with 300HP of nitrous. Will be fun Ute 👍

      @ for a hand ported head, new seats cut, head faced and new valves would be in the $3500 range.
      It does depend on the extent of port work required, the head in this video is pushing the limits and near on 80hrs of labour.

    " hope you find it useful." nothing there for me ! what is the optimum IN valve dia to bore ratio, IN length, and diam to IN valve diam ratio, I always remove metal from the top of a downdraft port
    ( side valve is the reverse ) That port marching finish is a shocker, does not have to be shiny, but will not accept the roughness promotes vortices ???? every time you make the gases tumble + lost energy

      @@seanb250 NO answers to my questions WHY ? Be cause you do not know shit from chewed dates, you could have pocketed those IN valves and machined the combustion chambers for a start ! The only reason that car goes well is it has massive boost, not your pathetic attempt at a cyl head redesign, and I have modified heaps of cyl heads, with great results. I would be embarrassed to supply a customer with this CRAP !
