- Lake Havasu is known for its Redear Sunfish, but Largemouth, Smallmouth, Stripers, and Catfish are also very abundant! If you're willing to get out there and do a little searching, you might just find them all!
was just there lil over a week ago.. we had a blast... we caught about a dozen red ear hand full of stripers... beautiful spot!!! nice video
What bait did you use for both fish ? And do you know any good bank fishing spots? I’m taking my kids this weekend and want to get them on some fish
Great video Cam! I’m so jealous of great places you are able to see and fish
I appreciate you watching! 😄
Awesome! Were from MN and looking to go to Quartsite in winter ... might check that out next year!! Looked fun!!
I live in AZ. The colorado river west of there has some 10+lbs LM Bass and epic smallies in there too. Enjoy your time there.
Good stuff bro.
So pretty!!!! Your so great!!
If you were to eat any of those, I would have a stringer of striper. You have to read the regs on how much you can eat, but they're TASTY!
Be careful.....the snakes are out right now!
We're here in Quartzsite Az right now.👍😎
Nice video
Not too far away! Saw a guy with a rattle snake in his boat!
@@theu.s.ofangling1344 WHAAAT!!! Was he just floating around with it? 🥴
@@leesureleetrippin7079 it was in the back of his boat, he noticed it when he grabbed something from back there. He held it up and I saw it! It was crazy!
@@theu.s.ofangling1344 SCARRRY!! 😆
Good to see you again wasn't sure if you were still going at it here on TH-cam
I’m back! Thanks for watching!
@@theu.s.ofangling1344 Glad you are still at it and continuing to produce outstanding videos.
Come to Castaic Lake and the lower lake they have some big Crappie there. Let me know if you head this way.
Awesome video…
Were you towards the Parker Dam or more towards the London Bridge ?
This is near Bill Williams River on the south side of the lake. Thanks for watching!
Love your videos bro what part of lake Havasu
Have you heard of River Certified in Iowa? I'm the next state over to the west. Have you fished Nebraska at all? Hope to fish some creeks or rivers in Iowa this year for walleye or wiper.
Absolutely! I’ve ran into Spencer once, before I had started my channel. I haven’t fished Nebraska yet, but I intend to!
@@theu.s.ofangling1344 I scheduled a catfish guide with Spencer in July on the Missouri River. Eastern Nebraska doesn't have the greatest fishing. Central and western Nebraska is way better. I can give you some lakes or River spots to go.
What’s the name of the first spot you’re at? I’m familiar with Mohave and Mead but not really Havasu.
Near Bill Williams refuge. If you look at Havasu on a map, the long skinny point on the south side of lake. Parking at Delta Trailhead.
Where exactly are you fishing? Please share a map of area. Love your videos
The most southern part of the lake, there is a massive skinny peninsula that goes out into the water. Look in satellite images on google maps and you’ll see it right away!
Hey -you got a haircut!! Looks good :-) how do you tell the difference between a Bluegill and a red ear sunfish??
Red ears have a red/orange patch right next to the black dot on both sides it looks like it’s attached to the black. There are a couple other slight differences, but with so many kinds of sunfish that’s the easiest way to tell! I was looooong overdue on the haircut 🤣 thanks!
There's definitely a spot where you can catch those big sunfish by the dam.
Any hotel recommendations near the better fishing spots? Thank in advance
@@DWAYNEGRAY lol was wondering the same most likely the closest would be havasu springs resort
Anyone know where this in on the Map?
I want to take my grand kids there...
Peninsula trail
I absolutely hate fishing in AZ. Just came back from Havasu and the only thing I see is people on boats and jet skies. I’ve caught 1 fish in the 2 years I’ve lived here. I’m quitting fishing for good. Good job bro!
Rough man! If I could give a bit of advice, it’d be to make your bait look as natural as possible. Live bait on a small-ish hook using 10lb line. No swivels! I’ve had a lot of success in AZ and I never do anything too special! Good luck man!
