Doesn't matter if you have pictures and videos and 20 other people were there.. Denied...but can you drop this money off for Ukraine..thanks...Fuking gross.. Veterans cant get benefits but you can do Blow in the White House.. add in all the other problems..Its going to take a Revolution or it will never get any better

Before parting from the military, every member should be REQUIRED to take a three week basic training course in VA policies and procedures. Problem is, they change it every year or two, so neither the VA employees or their contractors can keep up with the changes. In the end, the vet suffers because of the bureaucratic horseshit in every part of VA administration. I have been trying to get new shoes for my fused ankles for two years now, and just got them yesterday. Not nearly as serious as this guy, but still horseshit. As for their medical staff, they fire, or force the resignation of the best and most experienced caregivers so they can hire caregivers who don't know shit about how VA works. The Veteran suffers and the taxpayer gets ripped off.

It’s so odd to me to see so many vets having trouble. I was well taken care of honestly. Generally if you have proper evidence from your med records and combat records, it’s pretty cut and dry. I got 100% P&T easily, and am in the burn pit, and radiation exposure registries in case that stuff causes more issues later. I’m retired infantry, with a CIB and multiple combat awards, not sure if that made a difference.

I'm sorry this is NOT good enough. That's ABUSE. They need to go all the way back and give him what he should have been getting all along. And if there is any attorney out there with any kind of heart whatsoever PLEASE would you back these Vets and put together a class action lawsuit AGAINST the VA? What this man and many others have gone through is Abuse, medical malpractice ABSOLUTELY 2 YEARS of NOT getting the help he needs? His condition is far worse now. I PROMISE you this man represents MANY in the same situation. We want ALL our vets taken care of and treated with dignity and respect. A plead to ALL attorneys out there PLEASE HELP. Thank you for those words. It helps us vets to know that someone cares. We feel alone more than people know. I’ve been fighting the VA since 2017 for Depression and Anxiety. I was denied twice. In August of 2022, a VA psychiatrist diagnosed me with PTSD, Depression, Anxiety, Sleep Apnea and Insomnia. I have ringing in my ears with headaches everyday. The VA is terrible on how they treat us. I wish some attorneys would take the reigns against the VA to force them to do what is right! I’m still waiting for my final claim after a Higher Level Review from May 30, 2023. All of my comrades in arms knows…you never leave a fallen comrade. The VA leaves us everyday. Many vets die or commit suicide while waiting for help from the VA. So, yes, I hope some attorneys get together against them for a class action lawsuit for us. There is so much to say, but, after nearly being killed 5 times over seas, I don’t think I or my fellow vets should have to fight this hard! Thanks again. Rangers Lead the Way! Airborne All the Way!

So many vets are being denied what is rightfully their's. Someone needs to dig DEEP Into this. Honestly I'm surprised anyone wants to join the military at all. Dogs STRAY dogs get treated better than our beloved vets. Who serve us and our country giving 110% 24/7 and as you said risking their lives not to mention the cost the entire family endures. It's never just one family member when one joins. No. The entire family is in the military really and they ALL make sacrifices. And then this is the thanks they get? It's disgusting. It's beyond cruel. It's EVIL. As much as I hate to hear this I'm THANKFUL News channel 8 has the balls to cover this. I wished more media companies did. The veteran had an incompetent VSO (Veteran Service Officer). If the veteran got one that is. Too many veterans try to make claims themselves and don't know the procedures for follow through. Or, the veteran made their claim from an organization that didn't have the means to track their claim. As a VSO belonging to the NACVSO, National Association of County Veteran Service Officers, after taking a battery of tests, you'll earn the right to be able to track a claim directly from the VA. The problem with a county VSO, is that many many counties won't pay for the cost of the facility or the staff to do the work on behalf of their county's veterans which is really ignorant. Last year, my county got an 11X return on the costs of our efforts. All of that money coming into the county tax-free. All spendable.

    • @SgtWill
      @SgtWill ปีที่แล้ว

Well said. I did my entire claim on my own without any VSO's help and was awarded 100 percent P&T. As long as you have a nexus and true medical evidence, its not hard to adhere to what the VA is asking for. Plus, Veterans can track their own claims on ebenefits too. Thats what I did.

any concerns or feel you may need to apply for medical assistance now is the time.
A medic or doctor walked down one line moved to the next & that was it.
    No questions no forms.
It was like going to a Dermatlogist that stands 3 feet away & never talks to you
or examines you & has no records.
Then I went to see about VA Loans.
I was told what loans, are you working, forget it.
I was a Canadian Citizen drafted & sent into combat
when I had numberous skills I could offer, even in the
combat zone & they were not getting ambushed in jungles
& rice patties or removing women & children from their homes
& burning them to the ground & leaving these remote & indigenous
people in a hot rice patty & move to the next village.
