It was a great time as many old friends got together in the Philippines. Quite a few of them had not seen one another for 50 years. There was much laughter, great fun, and some tears for batch mates that had passed over the years. Friendships were renewed, stories shared, and new memories created. Some people looked as if they had stepped out of high school just a few years earlier, and others were a little more worn about the edges. Many people traveled into the country from the United States for the reunion. Fortunately it took place just before the Corona virus became widespread. This was the "closing picnic" to say goodbye to the batch mates at the reunion. It was an informal time for enjoying good company, good food, and good times. If you look close enough, you might catch a random white guy appearing a few times. That's me. :-). I wasn't in the Class of '70, but my wonderful wife was.
