I think it was pretty much the elimination game part of it. Stanford just watched UConn bomb their best pitcher and with Pancer ready to go, figured no point in risking it I'm guessing. I was a touch surprised to see Quinn Mathews come out when they were up 6 versus using someone like O'Rourke to potentially close it out. Lotta pressure on Joey Dixon today. At the same time, curious to see who UConn rolls out there.
