I don't usually post comments on other peoples videos but this one just blew my mind. It's a true piece of work you have made to one of my favourite couples, simply amazing.
I'm really hoping that, if they ever do remake re6, they keep Jake in. A lot of people disliked him because they think it's wierd that Wesker had a kid, but I just want to see him and Sherry again. They so clearly have feelings for each other, and I feel that They're the closest we're ever going to get to two main (ish) characters actually being romantically involved and in a committed relationship. They're so cute together, and their campaign is the first game that my first partner and I ever played together, so it's very special to me, especially now that we're long distance, and we will be for a few years. I don't know if I'll ever forgive Capcom if they make a 6 remake and scrap Jake, or change it so that him and Sherry don't clearly have the hots for each other.
I actually adore the idea that Wesker had a kid, in many ways, it make Wesker more... realistic, human, it's like a testimony that he was touched by "human weakness", like desire, sexuality, and make his dream/ambition of becoming a god even more impactul because in the end, he was just a man. But I don't think they would erase Jake if they make that remake, they would be forced to rewrite the story way too much. And just, same lol, I want these two to be back. It's so cute for you and your partner, that you shared this experience with this game, and don't worry, so far they did great with the remakes, at this point, I think we can trust them !
@MissEleanorVane I definitely like Jake being Weskers son as well, it's amazing for Jake and Sherry's relationship because they both relate to having a dad who hurt a lot of people, and not wanting to be like that dad. I really enjoyed Jake's storyline, but I would understand if they changed it because of how much people unfortunately hated that plot point in the original. At this point, I think I don't have to worry too much about 6 remake. I get the feeling they're going to change a lot, specifically with the story because the original 6 is what killed the franchise first time around, so they'd probably want to make up for that, but I think if it's remade they would at the very least keep the same characters, and keep the same basic story, just improving it a lot. I think that's about as much as I need. Keeping parts of resident evil 6, but ultimately changing it for the better. I really hope that Capcom realises this is a good idea and doesn't just decide to ignore re6 because it was negatively received the first time. This is their chance to redeem themselves and prove that they're not going to make the same mistakes, so I think it would be a really good idea to remake 6 but more horror focussed. The story wouldn't need to be changed too much to make it focussed on horror. Chris' campaign could be a separate game mode or just a campaign that is fully action based. Leon's campaign can be the classic RE4 feel, cheesy, and action, but still horror, and then Jake's campaign could be something like RE2 and RE3, with Ustanak being a stalker enemy. So long as they don't make him seem as incompetent as they made Nemesis seem, they could have a really winning formula on their hands. A formula that has the action parts of resident evil. While also having the RE4 feel and having the classic stalker enemy and the horror that RE built itself upon. It would be a perfect move, making both the horror and action RE fans happy. I went on a bit of a tangent, but I have a lot of ideas for how they could make RE6 a game that makes fans of the original happy, while also catering to the majority of the RE fandom.
Yes, yes another great OTP to me!! It was so great to watch, and very good editing :) Spoiler: If you played with RE 8, I have a guess that we'll still stick with the Winters family in the 9th episode, but probably with Chris too.
Ehehshshshdhdhsbdhd THIS IS SO BEAUTIFUL OMGGGGGG! The voice overs gave me butterflies! I loved their chemistry in RE6, i truly think they have such a special bond, especially since both their fathers were allies yet Jake and Sherry were the complete opposite of them. I would LOVE to see them reunite, it’s adorable how Jake is protective over Sherry ❤️ But anyway! This edit is INCREDIBLE! I swear your typography styles are SO pretty and i love the way you used the overlays and incorporated black and white too, very aesthetically pleasing! WONDERFUL! ✨💜

Jake and Sherry are the most canon ship after Aeon, perphaps more than Aeon in truth (I mean, Leon never watched Ada almost entirely naked like Jake did with Sherry lmaooo), they have really explicit scenes who make them canon for me and just YES, this chemistry between them, and the fact that their fathers were friends/partners in crime makes their whole relationship even deeper and more interesting, like you say Jake and Sherry are opposites of William and Wesker... and yet ... fathers and childrens share the same bond (almost the same lol). AND LIKE FOR REAL! Jake is SO protective for her ! It's killing me lol. Anyway, thank you, thank you so so much, your compliments make me smile so much every time, I'm just happy that you like my style, whether for the overlays, the typography or the rest, really, thank you, thank you
I genuinely agree to this, I was aesthetically pleased and in awe from just the title being The Reason and me being personally in love with Jake and Sherry
God these two are so cute. My bf and I played it together and we started off disliking Jake but Sherry softened him and gave him someone to care about.
