    just wondering you start with Mode C and let it run for 15 mins and then straight away do another session with Mode A? Is that right?

    So what mode is the one that inflates starting from your feet to thigh? I dont see that in my air relax. TIA

      Benjie Go the setting is mode A. This way the inflation starts at the ankle cuff and each cuff inflates in turn (staying inflated) up towards your groin, allowing the compression to move upwards before all cuffs deflate together.

    What are your thoughts on icing after you do this? Sean’s like they would go great together

      Hi Kevin, I'm not sold on that. Both methods are essentially looking at constriction and dilation of blood vessels. I see them as different tools on separate occasions rather than a combination.

    Thank you for your video. I am trying to decide between the Air Relax and the Rapid Reboot. Would you have any thoughts to the matter? Thank you

      Johnny, the benefit of air relax is a higher max pressure, 230 mmHg compared to 200 mmHg, the systems work in a similar way other than that. The other big benefit for me was the great customer service in Australia. I paid full retail price for these but they are a great part of my recovery process now.

    would you recommend this over a high end massage chair??

      @OwainMatthews  4 ปีที่แล้ว

      Absolutely. The high end massage chair doesn't provide compression or massage to the whole leg

    Is this machine good to help shin splints?

    • @OwainMatthews
      @OwainMatthews  4 ปีที่แล้ว

      It really depends on the cause of the shin splints. Most cases you are initially trying to reduce inflammatory response which they do help with, but then the real work is improving range of motion, improving strength and potential run biomechanics.

    For people who are interested in a comparison between Air Relax and Normatec - I have a simple comparison review here with lots of questions and answers from readers as well that may be helpful to some. Happy recovery :) www.thomasgerlach.com/2016/08/normatec-vs-air-relax-recovery-boots.html

    I didn't know it came in difference sizes

      @OwainMatthews  6 ปีที่แล้ว

      Ronald Childress yeah, hopefully the closer the size is to being correct for you the more chance of making sure it hits all the right spots
