Dr. Obsinet Merid is an internist and associate professor at Morehouse School of Medicine in Atlanta. She and her husband, Dr. Tesfaye Telila, founded Heart Attack Ethiopia to help stem an alarming increase in cardiac related deaths among young people in Ethiopia.
