My mother and I used to play Nioh together.. it was our special moment.. we became addicted to this game since December 30th of 2017 and no matter how long the day was.. we always had time to enjoy Nioh.. and now she is gone.. she loved this music, it was her favourite so, I did a tribute with this piece and photos from birth to the last days.. It makes me feel so in peace and at the same time, sad.. because I have no longer my warrior by my side... thanks for sharing, it is beautiful..
I understand the feeling that this piece of music causes in you, it is a huge mixture of sensations because of how beautiful it is and the memories with your mother, she now rests and is happy that you will always carry her in your heart. The Zelda BOTW soundtrack gives me a feeling similar to yours, my girlfriend loved the game and her music, she passed away 1 year ago, I will carry her with me forever.

I find it incredibly odd that this gorgeous piece of music (which very much reminds me of old Tenchu songs infused with Jeremy Soule-isms in its composition) plays in an admittedly gorgeous locale that just happens to accompany a rather large population of Yokai - many of them new to a player just arriving in this actually difficult stage.
I actually found myself wondering if I should really be there, it seemed as if this was a "sanctuary" of sorts for yokai and that I was invading their home, it wasn't a burning village or ruined temple, it was just the depths of a cave that no other humans had delved to.

I try not to do so often because it always makes me want to play Nioh 2 which unfortunately still randomly crashes on my PC thanks to that one update (despite trying a lot of ways to fix it), so it's kind of bittersweet.
@@LordSephleon I still need to play Nioh 2 believe it or not. However, I have beaten the first Nioh about 3 times. It really soothes me and I seem to play it in late fall/winter all the time haha.
