I don't get why blocked strikes are counted towards total strikes? Sure if the hits connects to the head or body it's different but shouldn't they usually display effective striking? Because I'm sure if you compared effective striking of both fighters and then see how Brunell dominated ground game you will come to the same conclusion as the judges. Not to mention Sanchez was losing every single ground position in either dominant or submissive position.

I respect Big John enough that, even though I saw it for Mads, I was questioning my judgement throughout the commentary. I had it 29-28.

He won round 2 and 3 clearly, first round was pretty close but Brunel scored more damages and got time control with two takedowns.
Not very close fight tbh, 29-28 clearly

Burnell had zero damage taken even though Sanchez landed alot which was blocked.. And Burnell won round 2 and 3 pretty clear IMO but im biased too
