I had these sitting in my shop forever and your video lit a fire under me . They all went on pretty easy until the last one on the passenger back of the cab . Had to cut a trap door and get to that capture nut that was spinning .
Nice work fried. I'm about to do my '93 Dakota. Similar ES bushings...3 on each side. I have no mounts by the core support. I have an extended cab and all three mounts are toward the middle of the truck. Front-most is under the back of the fender, the other two are under the cab. I don't know what I'm going to run into when I lift the cab. I'll at least remove the fan shroud and will have to play it by ear if there is anything else. Again, nice camera work and nice narration. Good video!
you did pretty good brother! Now it makes me want to do mine. I bought a cab set of those at a swap meet around 3 or 4 years ago. they just been sitting in my closet that long. its pretty easy. Thanks a lot.
fried_daddy no garage yet. Live in apartments still. I have 4 vehicles. It does suck not having your own place. I do oil changes on my trucks here and sometimes go to my parents to do more involved work. Next year we are planning on getting a house so I’m hoping everything will be better.
Not sure how it's gonna improve the ride because I haven't driven the truck yet. But, I am re-doing everything where the sun don't shine to get a 100% fresh start when I hit the road.
Didn't drive it until after the bushings were put in. I replaced the core support when putting engine in and the fenders didn't line up until I replaced all 6 bushings at once. What I can say is with the bushings, it feels and drives great!

Glad it was able to help you get motivated!!
Explained very well...thank you! Getting ready to change my mounts on my 86 C-10 thanks to your great video.
Thanks!! Good luck with your project!

Thanks! Good project to do over winter if you have a garage and heat.

fried_daddy where you from? I’m over here in good old San Antonio, Texas
@@badchevyc76 nice. Garage will come soon. I'm currently in North Carolina.
fried_daddy a lot of c10 down here. Do you listen to c10 talk? Is a podcast. Pretty good stuff.
Brilliant! Exactly what I needed to know. Thanks.
Glad it could help you out!
Good video, well explained 😉👍. Like everyone else who's watched this video, I need to do the same on my 84 C15
Thanks. Good luck with your project!
Thanks for the video man, I appreciate it!
Glad it could help out.
Well I’m glad I watched this video you didn’t do any cutting or anything I can do this ! Thanks fo the vid buddy subscribed!
Good luck with your project!
3.4116 is the part number just for the mount guys! Thanks for the video!! Would an impact make it harder to get the cab bolts out?
So how did you like the polyurethane bushings? Did they make the truck too rough riding compared to rubber bushings.
The polyurethane bushings are great! I can't compare them to 30 year old dry rotted, collapsing rubber bushings.
Where did you jack to do the core support bushings?
Same spot as the cab bushings. Fender and core support are mounted to the cab of the truck. They raise when the cab is raised.
Great job!! How are they 1 year out? What differences have you noticed in your ride?
Bad ass man. Did you do the core support last? Did you have to loosen any linkage from the trans?
Thanks. Yeah, I did the core support last. No linkage loosening was necessary.
I need to do the same to my c10!

Did the truck feel any different or better after? I'm thinking of going with these same bushings.

Very good job.
What body spacer kit was it?
It was the energy suspension kit.
We're did u order your kit from?
RockAuto
Part # 318108R
It was $247.79 plus shipping when I ordered it in July 2019.
Does it make the body line not match up with the bed?
Everything lines up good.
Do you have a link for those bushings?
They are part of this whole kit.
