Beautiful hike and a piece of history. When I went up Eldon I went off the wrong way from the cairn. I ended up coming out a Peak Forest and ended up with a 4 mile road walk. I bought OS Map App that night. Thanks for sharing Stu, I really enjoyed it.
Brilliant video Stu, Im not sure if I laughed more at the quarry art or the drone getting stuck in your beard! You prove time and time again that you dont need to walk far from the very busy spots to find some stunning and quiet walks! Thanks!
Hi Stu. Just stumbled across your channel. Great stuff. you're lucky to be living in Castleton. Hello from the AR&O Cert lads. Me (Charlie) Tony and Neil are still here!
Hi Stu. Brilliant very informative video as always pal. Although I learnt that you can make a huge cock n balls from quarried rock, every day is a school day as they say mate. All the best pal Dave 😀🥾⛰
Your local knowledge is breath taking. I watch your videos just to hear you talking about your little fuck ups …. your main one being that you still haven’t learned to carry around a fiver with thee!!!
brilliant walk it would be intresting to really see how deep the bottomless pit is. love castleton and the surrounding area as there is so much to see and so many hikes in the area. winnats pass is just amazing and the devils elbow is on my list to scramble so i can get some pics from up there
@@thepeakdistrictviking cheers some depth that. Yeah I look forward to the guidebook I've downloaded some of the gpx files to put on my Garmin foretrex 601 so I can follow those when kids are at school 😊
@thepeakdistrictviking went last week for first time this year as everywhere just been too waterlogged, found fuck all tho 😂. Been concentrating on my wildlife photography in most of my free time so at least out in the countryside all the time.
What a peaceful walk, beautiful! Interesting info too, along with light hearted moments for good measure. 🤣 Thank you for a great video. ❤️xx
