great setup. I live in Busselton I go camping in the s.w. forests on my own and love it. I am setting up my very small bongo van with an awning. then I am ready to camp more. being an older person my camping days in a tent have finished. I do like my comfort. I enjoy your videos so I might meet you in the forest somewhere. you never know.

Link in the description if you would like to join us Ladies only 👍 I just laid the back seats down and placed a camping table, I had down to level the back by placing a few things under the table to give a flatter area then just placed my single mattress which I had on top ! Then when I have the back hatch open it Then it’s very comfortable. Having the hatch closed the mattress isn’t flat to its full length..

So I will welcome you to join us 🥰 I haven’t had to worry about animals getting in where I have been camping, but in some remote areas we have wild dogs and they like to camp in pop up car roof tents !! Could that be an option for you ?
Just beautiful and incredibly peaceful. I am learning from you and the ladies on your Facebook group how to make camping easy for my non-camping husband. We’re hoping to get a puppy later this year and will be needing dog-friendly holiday options. I can’t think of a better rest from the rat-race than camping.

Ooooh this is sooooo exciting! I have to relearn how to camp........... AND I have a major learning curve with my 13 yo Staffy girl. She LOVES people but is NOT good with other dogs. I need to work out how to handle her when camping......... Thank you for your video - you are teaching me.....

Hi Kristie, do you think the DUSC awning would work as a side awning? I have RAV 4 with side opening rear door so want an awning that can go at side of car where I access my bed. Thanks for your vid 😊
@@Kokodagal2. yes, absolutely will work as a side awning and you can tie it off on the opposite side roof rails or close the tie down straps into the doors and you are set. Great canopy that is almost a tent if you want it to be, by dropping the front of the awning down to ground level and entering from the side, great in rain, wind or very cold camping But hurry to buy one, repco list it now as clearance stock only!

I’m not sure but I would imagine it’s to keep the camping ground protected and in order and stop to many cars on each spot 😁
