- This is Ocean Alexander… but not as we know it. The 35 Puro is the first in a new range for Ocean Alexander with a look and feel more suited to European tastes. It’s the first time the shipyard has worked with Italian designer Giorgio Cassetta on the exterior and interior styling.
In the exclusive in-depth walkthrough tour and review, Jack Haines assesses the new design direction that Ocean Alexander has moved towards and if the 35 Puro has what it takes to take on the European brands.
The tri-deck arrangement features four spacious guest suites on the lower deck with an impressive owner’s suite on the main deck. The galley on the main deck is large and well-specified, connecting well to both the saloon and the spacious crew quarters that are arranged forward on the lower deck.
The upper deck is home to the bulk of the external living space with a large dining table onthe bridge deck aft, which connects via side decks to an excellent foredeck with big sun pad and sunken hot tub. The sun deck is fitted with a substantial bar and various seating areas for relaxing in the sun and enjoying the view.
With twin 2,000hp engines her 17-knot top speed is nothing to write home about but at hull speed, she’ll top 2,000nm.

We all know who the players doing these yacht tours on YT. They're all pretty good, but you and your team have evolved to be the best. Great direction for O/A. They nailed it right out of the gate.

I don't usually like the 100+ ft yachts because the designs get lazy but loving the elegance and thoughtful design features on this one. Thanks Jack for including the crew quarters too! Love the prevalence of rounded corners and matte interior wood (glossy looks so gauche). Would love to see the Puro interior design elements on a slightly smaller 80-90 ft to compete with Princess.
I'm not normally an Ocean Alexander fan but I love this new design direction! The design is so well thought out and the clever touches (especially on the foredeck) are extraordinary! Hope to see more of this range. Jack and the YB crew do a smashing job with packing tons of info into a relatively short video. Really enjoyed this video. Now if they could manage to make it cruise at something above 10 knots...
I was in Taiwan in all the shipyards 25 years ago and visited this builders yard in the day, they have come on in massively over the years to build something of this design and standard like Horizon and some other yards, but on price they should be a lot cheaper not European prices??

Great tour, as usual, and I like the "Italian" direction OA is going (the exterior reminds me of the Riva Bellisima and the interior of the Benetti Motopanfilo which is one of my favorite interiors). Maybe I'm wrong but the price seems to be fairly high. A Benetti Oasis is 5 meters bigger at the same price and the Baglietto DOM hybrid is 5 million cheaper and aluminum. Thanks for the tour!

Do you know why the vips have beds facing inside? Would be awesome to lay in bed and have that ocean view. You cann add a high low tv, but the view could be amazing and the beds would be more near the center line.

Good question. I missed this detail in the tour but you can replace the beach club with a tender garage - Jack
It’s the best boat OA have done and they have upped their game with this one. It’s a beauty. The price tag is wrong. For 24m you have far better options. For a 35m at this spec it should have been 17/18m. This is not in line with all the other major manufacturers at 35m length which means they will struggle at that price.
Probably the most amazing OA ever made. A bit pricy for a 35 meter but the finishes are reflecting the price. Finally OA stepped up. Most of their yacht are white and boring but this one is RIVA and San Lorenzo level...

Ocean Alexander is the Harbor Freight of yacht builders. You can put a pretty package on a turd, but you still have a turd. If OA hasnt stepped up their quality it's still a hard no.

I waited the entire 20 minutes to see why this boat costs as much as a majesty 155. Didn't see it. You of course gave a great tour as usual. The boat is just overpriced n bland
If i was RIVA id be furious! This is a RIVA copy of there 90 100 and 110 flybridge! Its so ovious it looks ADZACTLY the same! Cmon OA come up with your own designs like you revolution range! God bless all and happy sailing all 🙏❤🛥⚓

The shipyard assumes everybody, even the filthy rich, just piss in the ocean while swimming, no need for a toilet
