Congrats on the New Chain! you hit the nail on the head when you said 5mm is perfect size because it doesnt have the Gaps of the 6.5MM thats the reason I didnt go with the 6.5MM Franco, I purchased an 8MM Gold Rope from Jacoje a few weeks ago and its absolutely beautiful! I heard you mention your next chain will be a 7 or 8mm Rope, I say Go with the 8MM, Ive got a 5.5MM Flat curb from Jacoje, Im planning to sell it and then get the 5MM Franco and I will be done buying chains for a second....Until the gold fever kicks back in!😂
May God Bless You and everyone reading this Comment, and to those not able to afford the chain they want right now, hold steady, stay focused and you will get it! your time is coming!

Thanks for the comment and the kind words brotha. Yea, I really wanted that 6.5 but with the gaps and the quality not being as good as the 5mm and smaller Franco’s, the 5 was absolutely perfect. Yea, definitely getting a 8mm rope but I want 18k and Braden doesn’t have them yet. That gives me some time to save up anyways! God bless you buddy!! Have a great day!

Congrats on your new chain. Jacoje is a great brand with great customer service. I know you mentioned possibly getting a 26” rope chain. Just my opinion, I think 26” is too long. I bought a 26” rope and don’t like how long it looks. My go to is 24” but I also wear 22” and I’m 5’10” at 210lbs. I hope you enjoy that piece for a lifetime. It looks great.

Thanks man! I appreciate the feedback. Yea the longer i looked at 26 inch, the more I realized it's way too long. May get a 5mm rope at 22 inch to stack with the 5mm franco. Would prob be a fire look. Or just get the 5mm rope at 24inch and have them stack each other. Just don't want them to scratch is all. Make sure to sub. Thanks again!

That's a baller piece you have. I have a 3mm 14k DC Franco and it weighs 34.3 grams. I would love to upgrade to the 5mm eventually. I used to be into the rope chains and I still like them but it can't compare to the weight per mm you get with the Franco chain. Definitely my favorite go to chain.

I wouldn't worry too much about scratches. They are solid pieces. Just don't do anything stupid with your chains, clean them every now and then and give them a wipe down with a gold polishing cloth from time to time. My girlfriend has a rope chain that she inherited from her grandmother, who wore it every day for as long as my girlfriend can remember, and it still shines very nicely. Once you get 3 or 4 chains, they will be in a rotation, so none of them will take as much of a beating. Enjoy!

Sleeping in a chain does more damage than anything else from my experience. Not only are sheets fairly abrasive, but as you move around or roll on your side the chain can fold over onto itself and then you have metal rubbing on metal.

Leaning towards the 14k so I can stack it on my 10mm 14k Cuban from Jacoje. Would be a nice flex wearing 393 grams of gold around the neck. IN MY OPINION i think a 7mm rope is comparable to a 8 or 9mm cuban size wise. THIS IS JUST MY PERSONAL OPINION. cant wait to see what u choose and im sure ull be happy with whatever you go with.
