What is Wrong with Blue, I love Blue, I hate Green, I am sorry but I am not watching anymore and unsubscribing, I am sick of people hating on the color blue
Evidently, you haven't been watching very long because I've posted many videos in July and January months with lots of blue. I have a big collection of blue glass. I love showing our flag in July. 🇺🇸 I wear more blue than any other color. I love all of God's colors and can't wait to see all the new ones in heaven. It's very sad that you hate green because it's wonderful seeing green grass, plants and 🌳🌲🌴. I am grateful for blue skies 💙 and the oceans, and all his blue creations. 🐦 Our home is mostly warm colors. Adding blue or purple would not be practical. I posted a couple of living room videos where I added a lot of turquoise with our warm colors. It looked great. I also collect a lot of pink, white, and blue miniatures for Valentine's décor that I love and have shared. I have January videos with blue, turquoise, and white in my kitchen. Your comment doesn't make any sense to criticize me for not buying something blue, but immediately, you say you "hate green." It would be difficult for you to watch any of my home tour videos then because we have lots of green vintage things and green foilage typically. Thank you for making me consider explaining in future videos why I choose not to BUY a certain blue item.💙🩵💙

I have to agree all the stores they go to are stocked with good finds. There are very slim pickings in Northeast Ohio. Unless I always go at the wrong time.

Oh My finding all the cute buys... That green on the tree is my favorite green. I don't get out thrifting too often when I do though I don't find the cute things you guys find. I'm a happy camper in California 😄.. just saying 😂. We just don't seem to have a lot of cute things in our stores here but we do live in a smaller area and so I guess everybody goes there and I do notice you go out of town a lot so I guess that's what I got to do is travel to find those cute things like you guys do. 🤩 Great job kids 💜

Peg, I admire your restraint. I would not be able to leave a lot of things on the shelf. Especially the Tom and Jerry set, I dont have one yet. Also the Wachtersbach red bowl is very desirable, along with the mug. And the plastic trio of angels were so sweet! And the Lefton holly and berry.....

When I hear Peggy’s voice getting excited, I know it is going to be great…and those Corelle dishes were! I did buy a vintage manual typewriter.😂. Guess you and Cassandra would have told me no.😅. The spider votive was only $2…what a deal. That store has so much merchandise. Does Norm enjoy shopping more when looking for Christmas? His window displays are so great! I did like that piece with the deer and other animals…have never seen one like that before around here. So glad Norm came in and bought the Dept 56 man in boat…so cute! Fun trip! Cart shot was great and so colorful!

I can’t wait to see your Christmas house tour this year I thrifted 6 Christmas tin trays but I don’t know how to display them I hope you show trays in your house tour
Hi Maria! 👋 We're so happy you enjoy our videos, and we're glad you’re thinking of your Christmas décor! I do thrift trays often. I mostly show them in the kitchen or dining area and try to prop them up against the wall under the cupboards. If trays are small, I've sometimes in the past, put strong magnets on the back and would see if they'd stick to our fridge. You can also probably use the big sheets of magnetic material and glue a couple sizeable pieces together, so there's a magnetic side on both sides. That should hold up a smaller lightweight tray. Fairly small ones I've also proped up in the back part of my little hutch, wherever they would fit. We hope your weekend is restful and blessed.
I also use trays occasionally and last year I used the little round sticky hangers found at Hobby Lobby. Not a good idea for trays but work great for dishes. The trays came crashing down off the walls in the middle of the night and scared the meanness out of me…just in time for getting onto Santa’s good list.😊. I ended up using the wire plate hangers that come in various sizes and those worked great.
Hi Peggy and Norm! You have inspired me to go silver again. I will put up my silver tinsel tree this year. It’s been 12 years since I’ve used it. I have all antique mercury ornaments that go on it. Every year I have threaded popcorn and cranberry garlands for our real trees. In the past I used to do it with my Mum. But I think I will get a break this year as I have collected enough mercury glass beaded garlands now.
That was a fun shop along! So many treasures! Guess what...would you believe we had a picnic lunch yesterday in southeast Nebraska! It was visitor Sunday at the seminary my son is at and we packed a picnic lunch for after Mass! Take care, Peggy and Norm! ♡

Hi Lynn! We're so glad you are watching and hope you are feeling better! I'm sorry about your dental work. 🫤 I can identify. I'm having oral surgery again the day after Christmas. I've been missing 2 teeth, close to the front, for 6 months from breaking a bridge. I was talked into having implants done, and I maxed out my insurance this year and am waiting until January to finish the work and max out my insurance for 2025, too! 😒 2 Implants and 3 crowns have cost us $10M+! It's ridiculous. I had an excruciating and traumatic experience having the initial extraction of the broken tooth and 2 screws inserted way up into my deep sinuses. Novacaine does not work on me much. I got many painful shots. I was shaking and went into shock by the time I got home triggered by terrible bleeding sinuses. Awful story, sorry.🙄 I'm nervous about the rest of these appointments. I've avoided friends and relatives because the $600 flipper they had me buy never could be worn without pain, even after 2 adjustments. What a waste of money. I've wanted to share in my videos what I've been through but never bother. You can see in our mirrors at times when I'm talking that I'm missing some teeth.😒 I've broken many teeth as a senior. I know that's common. Thank you for writing often.♥️ We hope you are on the mend, Lynn, and you have a blessed week ahead. 🙏♥️🎄💚
@Crazy4Retro Hi Peggy, we are so much alike! I'm missing 4 teeth, one is my front top tooth. At age 60, a new dentist told me I was breaking teeth due to my bite being "off" and I have bone loss due to age. Good grief! I'm in the 2% that nitrous gas doesn't work on. Of course I have abnormal nerves, trusting and turning and root canal specialists get very frustrated by my teeth and pulled some. Now I have braces. This is year two and I had huge spacers put in and "chains" on my top and bottom, both sides. New Years eve, day, I get custom metal bands to be bullied into place. 😢 I feel traumatized by dental, I need 4 implants and other work, estimate is 22k! Hugs 🫂 from a friend that kind of understands. ❤️ Ps, those flippers! No. I have a fake front tooth wired on my braces. It looks and feels good, but if I bite (like a burger or sandwich) the fake tooth flips around@ Hurts like the dickens. 😆 It's quite the sight!
Oh no, Lynn!!! 😲🥹 You are really going through a terrible painful time!! I'm so sorry for you! 😞 Your situation makes me feel like a whimp! It's all so traumatizing and extremely expensive!!! 😫 I'll be praying for you. Thank you for letting me complain, too. I've never been one to take OTC pain meds, but I use natural anti-inflammatory expensive supplements. So, any sedation methods have always made me very sick. I've had so many major surgeries that were horrible experiences. They've removed everything in me that's acceptable. 🙄 I'm so sorry that you have a terrible time with sedation, too! My oral surgeon said that I should have been put under, but that's another $1000.00 I'd have to pay myself. I'm embarrassed that my broken teeth have caused us such debt. I can't imagine your bills. It's so frustrating, I'm sure. It gets to the point of needing to refinance your mortgage again. I pray you get through this soon and heal well and fast.🙏🙏🙏 We hope you can be distracted by our videos sometimes, too. Big hugs from us. Thank you for sharing your very difficult situation. Lots of goodies and fun things. They are so expensive now a days. I was thrifting with a friend,they had a drink dispenser, the spigot was missing, and the price in they were charging was like it was new! 🤦
Hi! Norm is very thoughtful and supportive of my love of thrifting for our home. He does prefer finding great deals in antique shops, though, because he likes older toys, etc. He doesn't dislike being in a thrift store. He often comes in, looks around in certain areas, and goes back out to the car to wait for me. He just doesn't typically find the things he's interested in. Not many men want to go in Thrift stores, you are Lucky, My Husband hates them
Hi! Norm is very thoughtful and supportive of my love of thrifting for our home. He does prefer finding great deals in antique shops, though, because he likes older toys, etc. He doesn't dislike being in a thrift store. He often comes in, looks around in certain areas, and goes back out to the car to wait for me. He just doesn't typically find the things he's interested in. He knows I'm going to be in the store longer because I'm often taking time to video.

I think family pathways prices are too expensive
On some things, probably, but I've found many fabulous vintage items for a steal. I've not been buying things for resale during the last 4 years of making videos.
