Caleb- since youre a kielbasa fan this summer you should try this recipe. Pop some kielbasa on the grill along with thick onion slices n frozen pierogi of your choice that has been tossed in a lil oil and s+p. Get a lil char on everything n cook through. Chop the kielbasa n onion. Pop in bowl with pierogi n toss with a grainy mustard ACV dressing. So yummy! I knew when you posted this, I had to make it this week. I am a big fan of kielbasa and sauerkraut, and this might be my new favorite way to make it. I didn't have homemade sauerkraut on hand, but I did have homemade whole grain mustard (made with pineapple vinegar and hot honey) and used that. It was soooo good and such a quick week night meal.

I do a variation of this in a Dutch oven. I brown potatoes first with dill, then brown carrots with tarragon, then layer the potatoes, then carrots, then sauerkraut (with a bit of brown sugar), then the kielbasa on top, pour in some checken broth, pop the lid on and let it simmer for an hour on the stove top. Simple, easy and delicious.
I usually use cabbage. I like sauerkraut, too. The potato addition and roasting is brilliant. Mustard and honey? Looks crazy good! I have to try this. Thank you for sharing this. Blessings

Whenever I put a pan with a handle in the oven I always turn the handle towards the back of the oven. Too easy to forget and grab the hot handle.
