People like him are the ones that inspired me to get into photography. He is so passionate about his "job". If I ever did photography professionally, it would be wildlife or nature in general. There is just something in animals that people don't have!
I got introduced to Vic this past fall in the tetons, ran into him a couple times on that trip, we had some great talks. he even drove me to where he found a particular moose. Great guy and Great piece here Vic and Colorado outdoor magazine
I identify. I shoot in SE Colorado and am DAILY amazed. From Bears to rattlesnakes. Patience. Love of all things wild. Love of Colorado. You nailed it Vic.
Just wanted to let you know this was an awesome video. I have been a hunter for 35 years now and have decided to hang it up and become a wildlife photographer instead I have always had the passion for it but never tried it until now it is a lot more fun.
I really loved this and I spent my summers in the Adirondack's we have a camp up there so no has to convince me of the beauty of nature and all it has to offer ... I am taking a trip to CO end of august and can't wait to take Pics with my Canon ...

Cool video and very interesting person. Reminds me a lot of myself. I find animals way more interesting than people for example. I started monitoring Bald Eagles in Colorado and visited some best so frequently that I have prairie dogs that come running to me lol No fear, they run up and graze around my tripod while I'm videoing nest. Its just peaceful hanging out with wild animals.
My dad posted them on facebook and he's gotten calls from ppl who share his photos it is a good way for ppl to know who you are or you can also send them to magazines and stuff
I have a profile set up on DP review and my avatar is of an elk I sat for a few hours for in RMNP. I've been contacted repeatedly for a copy of this picture. One actually offered money but also all rights to the photo. I declined the offer but very flattering indeed. I'd just love the opportunity to have it in a magazine instead. That's my dream.
They can get acclimated to your presence but I never talk to animals unless to let a bear know I'm in their area. 😆 talk with the animals that's amusing I might try it provided I'm alone with them. LOL
that's really nice my friends say hunting is fun but I've never went hunting, I just don't have the guts to kill an animal. I feel bad so I go to take pictures of them with m dad he has the same camera and lens as this guy and a cannon 5d mark III we also live in Colorado he gave m a cannon 60d its a great camera I've taken very good pictures with it of many animals here in Colorado its very fun and beautiful. this guy really explains how it feels I want to be very good like this guy and my dad

What about Sweden? We have almost all the animals you have. Moose, wolf and birds of prey. Bears as well.
