In adulthood, I think having someone meet all your needs is unrealistic. Tv and social media has deceived us.

Unrealistic and many times impossible.
And this is why I don’t associate with family and friends anymore. Over their trauma bonding/burdening…fixing their lives, giving them really good advice, money, etc…but when I needed empathy, validation, prayers and solutions for my challenges, they never had anything to offer me.
When I made them laugh, sent funny/cute videos, fed them, bought/gave them nice things, they never reciprocated. I don’t need the breadcrumbs. I cook/eat good, laugh, entertain and treat myself good. They never celebrated my accomplishments after I celebrated them and theirs. All I know is my family and friends lost a real one and they know.

Umm… u may get something out of celebrating people. But they do not owe u anything. So now u learned to stop. Only do that for those who will do it for u.

Some of us were rejected and unloved as kids so whe we're older we feel like we gotta do things to earn love and approval. Im praying that we all be healed from such behaviors as well as have ppl in our lives who will love us and validate. 😊

I had a friend who would dump on me everything she was going through and then when I was want to dump on her about what I was going through she was never available so that relationship ended and I don't miss it and before they get to that point they probably really needed this break
Not trying to make excuses for your friend but maybe she was incapable of giving the support back. It seems that you are the stronger one who she looked to to help her in this regard. Her not being the strong one made it hard for her to be there for you because she couldn’t even be there for herself.
@@kaybase6967 well it was more of the I want to speak because this is about me, and when I would have something to say it was hold that thought,I have to paint the wall, type stuff. So she always appeared disinterested in anything I had going on. She also was the type who couldn't celebrate your accomplishments, she some how would redirect everything back to her

@@kaybase6967 It was or something because to nursing school and I shared it. She was like oh a couple years later she gets into nursing school and called me and said oh when do you graduate? I just want to see if we going to graduate around the same time?! Like what?
I rather have a forward thinking friend like Meghan. I think B Simone's thinking is why so many people feel lonely and without community.

It appears that for the podcast clips she recorded a video of a screen instead of screen recording and she sped it up maybe to avoid copyright issues but it does sound like the entire video is sped up

No, that is not true. As you grow and mature, you will understand the value of the things that are not temporary.
I am so happy that I am the type of person who has never needed friends or have to deal with even family members who are crappy and treat me like trash. I feel like when we were younger we were forced to communicate and be around family members who we know were horrible and met us no good. As adults, I choose 2 have peace, love, trust, and loyalty. In general I have accepted the facts that people are who they are and there is no changing that.
B. Simone should be a rapper. She is fire on the mic. She did a rap in a skit and I was hooked.
Just as relationships have love languages friendships do as well. However, We have to respect each other boundaries. Now if she is giving more & B. Simone isnt than in certain situations things may not be reciprocated.
Be careful when you start having success. Everyone is not there for your success.
As a grown ass woman I just don’t got time for all that!! I’m not gonna be explaining or arguing with no one who don’t live in my house!! My family comes first husband kids mom and dad sister everyone else can be mad and stay mad PERIOD

I knew Megan and B. Simone was a problem for Megan because she's a Pisces and an empath and has probably been drained by B. Simone all their lives because they are polar opposites when it comes to values and quality of character. And now here it is.... God bless Megan with all her endeavors. Amen.

The title is very misleading. B Simone gives her opinion. If you thought she was telling The Truth. The title should read B Simone is telling The Truth.
