Good for you mate good work, living in a ten meter myself down south and wish I'd done it years ago.

Bet it is beautiful down there. I sometimes think that: wish we'd done it years ago. I am not sure a younger me would have enjoyed this quite as much as I do now though.

Amazing progress in such a short time. What a gorgeous place to live.

Thanks so much. Sometimes it feels so slow - always a lot to do.

sad that county laws restrict buying land to live like this in California :(

That's strange. What is restricted? Is it to do with waste water treatment or something?

Great video, great property. I am from NZ but live over ‘the ditch’. We have done a similar thing here. We moved from our bus to our shed then finally to our house. Time again the bus and shed were all we needed. We had home made compost toilet that visitors hated using but once use to it was fine. I would find it very difficult to move back to town. Enjoy the journey.

Thanks. Good to hear you have done something similar. It's funny we love the bus, but I guess everyone has a desire to progress. I am sure we will be building something else before long. Thanks for watching and commenting

@@projectparadiseNZ we don’t regret building the house but we would do it again. We were concerned about council. There is something to be said about the simplicity of living in a bus.

@@projectparadiseNZ our fruit trees get ravaged by deer so all trees have surrounds. But on a positive note the deer end up on the plate too.

Ha! Maybe that isn't such a bad trade. I'm waiting for the possums to discover the fruit trees. Shame they can't end up on the plate
