  • I love Sedum. I loved it before I was a cut flower farmer, and I love it even more now.
It is fabulous 'in the green' so before it flowers. It is fabulous when it flowers in pinks and purples and greens. And it is easy to split.
Sedum is a really easy, undemanding plant. It literally grows itself. Not only that, it is easy to split and as this film shows, it is so desperate to live and reproduce that as it dried out in our drying room, it produced new plants for me.
It is possibly the perfect cut flower!
Do watch to find out more.

That's amazing. I have ordered bare root in several varieties. Can't wait

Cool! I never knew sedum could do that!
I just checked my dried sedum. No such luck. It’s stored in quite a warm area and the stems on mine are slimmer. Maybe that’s the difference.
New subscriber from Canada 🇨🇦 here…I found your channel in a roundabout way…through your newsletter today, when the word ‘Sedum’ caught my eye, but before that, Georgie, when she interviewed you last fall and I signed up for your newsletter. I’m sorry…I don’t know how I missed the fact that you have a TH-cam channel, but I’m so happy to have found it, and I have some catching up to do I see!

I have never seen them producing babies like that! In what stage did you cut the stems before hanging them? Thinking that they might be too week to do that if I cut them too early.
