Use Linked Text in Word to Update Multiple Documents at the Same Time

Hi, can we do this in on big document? I have some text that's repeating and I would like it to change in both places if I change the main part. Thank you for your help.

Can this be used interchangeably? Do you always have to make the changes in the original, source file or can you make the change in the second, third linked document and it will update the original, source file?

How can one do the following link: The document has a title, I need that title to reflect in a table in the same document. If I change the title, I need it to update in the table as well. Is this possible, I know in excel it could be done with "paste as link"
