- A montage of figure skating spin fails, including: Yuzuru Hanyu, Javier Fernandez, Stephane Lambiel, Shoma Uno, Patrick Chan, Sasha Cohen, Tatsuki Machida, Evgeni Plushenko, Valentina Marchei. I admire all of these skaters and this edit was made purely for entertainment. I mostly used fails that the skaters themselves laughed about later. Spins are hard!

Watching this made me realize how difficult those spins actually are, as they usually made it look so easy (a solid proof of how outstanding skaters they really are)
Haruko YAMAMOTO they’re so difficult to learn, they stress me out so much, but they’re fun to do

Sanaseppo Jason Brown is the absolute master... I think he gets the highest GOEs of any Mens skater
I've gotten myself a spinner and after trying, I felt so incredibly sick *loooooool* I started to wonder how the heck they skate afterwards or JUMP spin land and skate on. It's a great cure to try these things for yourself! Now I'm stepping on my spinner, trying one, go away. Come back later, try another one. Just to get used to the sickening feeling off ice with no blades attached to my feet XDDDDD
Plushenko is there and then he's just gone, vanished, camera can't even find him.
To this day, no one knows where he went.

I kind of adore when skaters fall anywhere other than when landing jumps, because for some reason, when it's something that "should" have been easy, they can usually just laugh at themselves and it's often very cute.

I was at 2003 worlds where Sasha (my all time fave) fell out of that camel spin. *facepalm* . On the plus side she did do her first 3/3 in front of me!

The best spin fail in the history of skating is Valentina Marchei's from 2007 Worlds SP. You have to watch it with the Carmen music...she fell on her butt almost exactly to the beat!! XD

This video is quite funny. Patrick Chan always seemed to have one element at any given time to be his enemy. During 2018 Olympics cycle, he failed on the triple Axel left and right. In this video, he failed on the flying camel spin 3 times.

I don't laugh at people falling, definitely not in FS, but this compillation is so hilarious
While some 'falls' are quite entertaining, others can result in serious point deductions as much as a figure skater that makes errors in the way they executed their jumps or they missed or messed up important elements that are required in order to gain points. Some falls can result in serious injuries.
I feel a little better knowing Grade A athletes dail their spins sometimes too. (◡‿◡✿)
