How did you watch episode 7? I don’t see it on Prime (with MGM subscription). I googled it and saw it’s out, but it’s def not on Prime; at least not as of when I’m writing this.
It seems like there's something wrong with Prime subscriptions and MGM+. Many users are reporting the same problem. But the episode is available if you access MGM+ through their official platform (mgmplus.com).
That yellow bile color was so present throughout this episode and it stood out so much to me that I commented about it on two other channels already lol....Ethan's plaid shirt, Victor's sweater, the hearts on Julie's sweater, Marielle's socks, the actual BILE from the monster, Jade's screwdriver and his new shirt, Christie's logo on her shirt, the lady creature drowning Elgin was wearing that color...the pillow Ellis used to cover the stab wound in the last episode same color...that sweater that Fatima gave Prudence in the first season before colony house massacre, the same color! Even the leaves on the trees are changing! It reminds me of when M. Night Shyamalan uses red in his movies! And I maybe reaching here but Jade made the comment to Tabitha that he is trying to make alcohol that doesn't taste like "stomach acid" which I thought was a weird way to describe the taste with this episode and the monster's stomach contents being kinda central to the episode!
Read Dante's inferno. I think the woman that held Elgin (Alighieri) down in the water was Tilly (Matelda). And she wasn't drowning him. She was baptizing him. And she disguised herself, knowing he would be fine, and not wanting him to remember. He keeps forgetting stuff, because he keeps going into the river of "Leithe," forgetfulness. And he remembers stuff when he's exposed to the holy water of "Mnemosyne" (memory). I think the Fatima look was just to throw us off. OR, It was her true form.
You're literally the only reason I'm still watching this show. Your excellent breakdowns of the thematic elements single-handedly make up for the otherwise absolutely infuriating characters on this show.
Maybe the baby within fatima will start to suck the energy/life force from within fatima and starts to kill her, and shes coming back from the dead/future to try to kill Elgin due to him being untrustworthy. (Victor says he didnt truat Elgin, the first time he met him- in the van)
Fantastic review as always. It’s interesting that the monster in Elgin’s dream bares resemblance to Fatima. This was another really good episode of From.
When Fantima talked about how her father died they named a whole episode "Silhouette".. highlighting that story. It may have something to do with whatever's happening 🤷
I think there is some compelling evidence now that this is some sort of "mirror dimension" that has served as inspiration for some of our dimension's mythologies and fears.
have not seen the episode yet, cant find it, watched your video instead , could not wait , awesome breakdown as usual. now i can watch the drama unfold , instead of looking for clues every second. thank you.
In my opinion when rendel and james wanna do the test with drone, weather get bad again like you mentioned, for elgin i think he is most suspicious person in this town after victor and i dont think so he will die this easily, but after all as rendel said if its a experiment so some people should be with the team im gonna say that victor should smth got to do with that cuz he is only one who lived here that long.
Omg dude u are a wizard with this shit man, u got my brain and head scrambled like some eggs with all these deep dives and factual theories and observations.. I NEED THAT NEXT VIDEO ASAP…
Excellent analysis, as always!! I didn’t notice how much that “witch” looked like Fatima!! I wonder what that means. 🤔 I also think that the nightmares are contagious, and that the worms are the virus. Season 2 started with Boyd having a nightmare, and that was when he was in the same place as Martin, so he was exposed to the virus before getting the worms. In addition, Marielle said that she thought that Boyd “gave her his nightmares,” and both Marielle and Elgin’s nightmares started out with the music box playing. They were both with Boyd the night before, so they were both exposed to the virus. However, I think that Boyd and Ellis are now immune to the virus. Boyd seemed to be cured of it when he passed it on to Smiley, and I think his blood might now be a vaccine. Type O Negative blood can be given to anyone, so this makes it more plausible that Boyd’s blood is the cure. I am also hoping that the bile will cure the monsters, like you suggested. I just wish Smiley could have been cured too! 🙁
Good point! We also saw how Kenny made contact with Boyd’s blood, so maybe that’s the vector (or one of the vectors) of transmission. Let’s see who else becomes affected by the nightmares.
I was confused as to why Marielle was having the same nightmares as Boyd but you’ve provided a good analysis with the virus possibility. A virus can be transmitted by many forms (air, touch, etc.) so this would explain a contagious interaction that did not occur via direct blood borne pathogens. Boyd might still have the antibodies which he passed onto Ellis…Elgin, I’m still skeptical of because I feel as if he’s been in this place before and was somehow able to escape, and this might explain his vision.
@@FromLand I don't remember the episode, but it was discussed the resemblance of that "place's" horrors to nightmares. Kenny's father said that it was like nightmare when dementia "kicks", so the mental effects of that "place", such as nightmares, visions, visages and others, doesn't rely on a biological vector only, but a biopsychosocial one. The difference is: in my opinion, these effects are controlled by a being, hence the manipulation of "monsters" and the ventriloquist analogy. The bathtub scene may be a twisted representation of baptism by immersion. Instead of letting die a part of you to live, you let all hopes to die on a living nightmare. Can't be optimistic 😂.
You're so right! Something is sucking the life(force) out of things in the town, even the food. And EVERYTHING they do and say has something behind it, even the smallest of offhand comments like this one. I found that unusual, too, when he said it.
I also noticed Marielle had yellow (the same color as the bile) socks at the end. In a show like this, where everything can be a clue, I don't think this is a coincidence.
I don't think Boyd's blood killed the monster. I'm probably wrong though lol... Remember they are focusing on fear and he stood up to Smiley. The monster in the kimono looks kind of like Kenny's mom or maybe Trudy. Elgin is so weird. 🫣
so the monster dont bleed but they take shits tho.....yo if i was being held under water in a tub, my defense move would be a fart.....under water fart bubbles are deadly.....also im using that drone to find a dollar tree, that dollar tree go let you know where to run to.......man oh boy that got stabbed is healing up quicker than wolverine
Proof that blood worms turn humans into the creatures. -Based on: ¹All of the creatures have outfits dated from years ago. ²Boyd probably time traveled through the faraway tree Sara showed him. He leaves Martin & things change, but the archway is the same with remanants/remains of the former structure showing yrs. past. ³Martin introduces the worms to the viewers. He's a prisoner in an unfathomable situation, so he asks Boyd to kill him as something unknown to mankind is keeping him alive. (He been shackled STANDING UP for "too many YEARS too count." It is obvious he should be dead in his situation.) ⁴ Martin's little lifeforce seems to ceast as the worms pass from his wound to Boyds wound. ⁵ Boyd says something similar to, it feels like the worms are living off of my blood, therefore, there's worse things than death so he wouldn't ever pass that hell to his son. Thus, alluding how Boyd believes the🩸🪱🪱🪱 keep you alive past death, but in a negative way not a 🎉hooray🎉 we discovered the fountain of youth type of way. ⁶ When Boyd slits Smile Creatures throat no blood is shown. A.) The autopsy on Smile not only confirms he didn't have blood, but also shown his insides were equal to a human, yet a human almost fossilized for how old they were. B.) If blood worms transfered from open wound to open wound, though survived in blood it would make sense why Smile creature died. C.) Chloe Van Landschoot aka Kristi was on TeflonTV's FROM TH-cam Live last night & I called in asking if she thought the worms died disappearing somehow since Smile had no blood OR did she think overnight they possibly crawled out of his butthole??Ok, I said mouth, however, anyone reading this essay probably needs a little comic relief at this point, butt lets be honest where do worms exit😂 P.S. she said the🩸🪱🪱 probably will lay low for a few epi's, but stay tuned & she believes they def. will reappear in the series.

fatima face is much more narrow that the zombie

Maybe It's just me but has anyone else noticed just how much Yellow plays a huge part in the series?
There are some scenes as well where everyone is wearing blue. Not sure what the relevance is with the colors but it could mean something.
You're the only channel I truly enjoy explaining FROM.
Love your breakdowns. They are so different from NY other Chanel and the detail and research is amazing.
Glad y'all were able to watch it. Still can't find it on the app so I just watched your video instead 😂 great job as always
