Why, cPanel Emails Going To Spam? How To Fix It?

  • Why are cPanel Emails Going to Spam? and sometimes even recipients do not receive the email from that created on cPanel based hosting. In this video, I am showed you how to fix the issue.
    In cPanel probably the main reason will be the DNS entry, like SPF and DKIM, but in some cases, it would be different. Cause, emails are going to spam box, for not just one reason.
    If your hosting IP address has a bad reputation, bad engagement, and server misconfiguration then, most probably your emails will be squashed by spam filters.

    Solution for "Email Going to Spam" -
    1. Properly Configures Server and DNS
    2. Allow port 25
    3. Use dedicated IP for emails
    4. Don't send emails to invalid accounts (Reduce Bounce Rate)
    5. Increase Engagement

    Awesome video, however my mail still goes to Gmail spam after following your tutorials, what was the MX configuration settings ? I think the MX on cloudflare was not well configured. thank you

      You are right, if website is configured with Cloudflare, then definitely it will interfere with mail configuration.

      You are probably using an older version cPanel, or the system administrator does not enable the features. Please, once you contact hosting provider, and say about email deliverables.

    i dont know what cpanel is i don't use any thing and its not a business account.
    Its my normal and only one account and I am receiving all mails from other people and registered websites into spam folder.
    I am receiving all my emails in spam folder.
    how to fix it please

      If you are receiving from others, then you can't fix it. But you can filter out those email, which you want into the inbox, and their future emails will receive in inbox.
      By the way, these emails are going to Spam instead of Inbox, cause Gmail bot already flagged them as spammers.
      So, you no need to worry. If your emails are going to someone's spam folder, then you must request the recipient for Mark as not Spam. It will increase your email account reputation.

      There are some other rules to make your email more authentic, and probably using these rules you can remove that question mark.
      1. DMRAC
      2. DKIM
      3. BIMI
      4. SPF
      Alternatively, I will suggest you to use Zoho business email free forever plan. Upto 5 emails accounts free.
      And they services are very reputable so there are no chances goes to your emails on SPAM.

      Yeah SMTP and POP/IMAP are in their premiums plans, however to create business email, it good enough.

      The steps I mentioned could be deprecated, since the cPanel got updated, or you must also contact your hosting provider to help out with it. I am going to make a new video on it.

      Please check email deliverability, if it shows everything okay, then also check the DNS configuration, where you probably have not added your MX records which are essential to send and receiving emails on cPanel.

    Hello Pranoy, I'm using cpanel emails on my Gmail. but whenever I send emails to anyone through Gmail with my Cpanel email. it is going to the spam folder of others. But whenever I send an email from Cpanel Roundcube, it is going to their inbox, Do you have any solution for this? By seeing your video you send emails from Cpanel directly. I guess whenever you sent emails from Roundcube Cpanel directly it never goes to spam. Do you have any solution for webmail using gmail?

      I never tried that. But I think there could be some extra configuration that need to be properly for Gmail. Like the port number we used tl configuration should be secure TLS or SSL secured.
      However, first thing you must configure all necessary MAIL records on DNS settings, if you are using Cloudflare then don't forget to add those records on there.
